00:00let's start at whole kr sam cook what did you make of him
00:10um i thought it was it was a very tough performance from both sides really in terms of
00:18i don't know that it was that great spectacle it was very intense but i'm not sure that
00:22it was a game you'd want to necessarily re-watch i think it was a bit too stop start but it
00:28probably favored hooker in terms of they've obviously got that home support and they've
00:33they kind of they've been the team that have sort of formulated this grinding teams down
00:39thing leads have probably copied it a little bit or maybe replicated a little bit lately but
00:43hooker are kind of the team that can really get you in that grind and it kind of i think willie
00:50peters had spoken the week that he wanted it not to be two stop sacks you can kind of get the fatigue
00:54out but i think robbins still managed to do that and obviously i mean there's the late try but
01:00it was quite comfortable in terms of saints not really threatening the line but equally
01:04there wasn't much that pull care really created i mean there's the mikey lewis 40 20 and then he
01:10created the assist but barring that i think the end didn't offer too much going forward which has
01:14been a bit of a trend so a win which is important especially going into next week and potentially
01:20winning the league leaders shield but you're looking at it and thinking that they're not quite
01:24on the form that all the other playoff contenders are so i think there's still a lot to be seen in
01:29these past three weeks in the next three weeks yeah do you think that's just a case of burnout after
01:34going full tilt for the entire season i think probably yeah and i think they've not necessarily had
01:40that spine solid for the past few weeks they've had um changes with more coming into the half when
01:48may was banned lewis obviously missed that um game after his failed hr against leeds and i think
01:54just little tweaks and changes haven't necessarily helped but also yeah the fact that it's been such a
01:59long season for them and obviously you can see now what effect that's having on warrington so i think
02:06it's understandable that hulk are maybe having just a a little bit of a low period but the fact
02:11that they're still winning in games like this is something that willy peters will take great solace
02:17yeah i mean i spoke to willy peters after the game and he said that that he wasn't particularly
02:22concerned about the lack of attack even though they've only scored a try in each of the last three
02:26games but it was something they'd be looking towards i mean it can take a lot out of the fact that mikey
02:32lewis just came up with the goods later on didn't he yeah i think that's when he was referencing the
02:38the fatigue he said that um he wanted it to be a game where there was a lot drained out and then he
02:43was going to look towards mikey lewis and tyrone made to create some at the end and i think in the
02:48defeat to leeds i mean they were well off it but mikey lewis misses a 40 20 by about a foot or so it
02:55really wasn't much when i think that was in the first half potentially and you think if that comes in
03:00then how much does that change the game and obviously it's yeah a piece of skill that's hard
03:05to execute but he's got it right the week after and he's kind of made up for it and obviously like
03:09that leeds game was a complete right off after that point but the fact that he's come out and done it
03:14he's maybe silenced a few people because he wasn't massively active during the game but that final 20
03:20minutes where it kind of it was a little bit touchy and edgy he's done something and i think they can
03:27take great confidence in that because you've seen how grand finals are won the one by one moment one
03:32try and mikey lewis can make that one moment that's all you really need him to do yeah and i thought
03:39jess linton was absolutely superb in that game as well he made 40 plus tackles it wasn't that much of
03:45a live around the rook but in terms of his overall performance coming up against daryl clark
03:51you know if you're treating that as a as an england audition if sean lane was watching
03:54you know i think jess linton was the best hooker on the pitch pete i know you watched that game
03:59what do you do you agree yeah i i thought it was quite i didn't enjoy it i thought it was quite a
04:07dull contest i must must admit i mean i had 20 minutes to go when i saw what was happening at
04:13warrington i turned over um i think that whole kr i think it was very good win for whole car in terms
04:22of their response to the previous week when they were totally outplayed by leeds um i don't think
04:28they were ever in that game i know what sam's saying about the 40 20 but i i don't think that though
04:34whole kr were were ever anywhere near to leeds leeds were a level above so to come back with that sort
04:41of response i think it's very good and you're at the stage of the season now where it's just winning
04:45that matters um and obviously okay i have got that back they're not looking as dominant as they were
04:53a few weeks ago but um other than the leeds game they are still winning that's in that's important
04:59um i think their their big players can play better i think the big players will play better
05:04when it gets to the um the business end or the knockout games that are coming up
