00:00Here's arguably the most interesting statistic that I was able to find that everyone agrees on.
00:05This was conducted by a Bank of America survey where they asked a couple of interesting questions.
00:10Like, what is the definition of a life well lived?
00:13They asked over 3,000 people ages 55 and older across all types of wealth,
00:17and 94% said having friends and family that love me is that definition.
00:2275% said to leave an impact on society.
00:25Only 27% said being successful in their career.
00:28And only 10% said saving a ton of money.
00:31Now, when those same people were asked what they wanted to be remembered for,
00:36across all of the different wealth statuses,
00:39the majority said they wanted to be remembered for the memories they've shared with loved ones.
00:44Virtually none of them wanted to be remembered for the amount of money they accumulated and left behind.
00:49So it seems at the tail end of our lives, money becomes the least important metric to care about.
