Spoilers ahead! In the finale, Jackie seems to have chosen Cole over Alex, despite getting back together with Alex in the penultimate episode. 00:00You know, tell me this, do you lean into the fandom of Team Alex, Team Cole?
00:03Because it is there, and who are you backing of the brothers?
00:07Are you backing your own brother, or are you rooting for the other?
00:09We just lean on each other.
00:10Yeah, absolutely.
00:11We don't lean into the—we lean on each other, and I'm Team Ashby and Team Nikki.
00:16I love it.
00:17That's how it should be.
00:18Couldn't have said it better myself.
00:19Good stuff.
00:19Now, we have to—I want to ask a couple of spoilers.
00:30Sounds like I didn't miss much.
00:32No.
00:33But I missed you.
00:45Jackie and Alex secretly get back together.
00:47Wait, what?
00:47What the heck?
00:48Something.
00:49Oh, you know.
00:50Come on now.
00:52They secretly get back together.
00:54I saw them.
00:54But it feels like something was—I was literally saying, what show were we watching?
00:58What show were you acting in, mister?
00:59I don't read the scripts.
01:00Yeah, right.
01:01We had to read it, and you saw that finale.
01:04Wait, Alex.
01:05What are you doing?
01:06Somebody might see.
01:07I don't understand why we have to keep it a secret.
01:11Why can't anyone know?
01:12It's just—it's not the right time.
01:14But we can talk about it later.
01:16Okay?
01:17But it still feels like something is missing in that relationship.
01:20How would you describe their dynamic this time around?
01:23I think they're really trying it.
01:25Like, I think they're giving it a proper swing.
01:27Because I think there was so much baggage in the first year that it almost feels like they were doomed from the start.
01:36Alex had all the baggage with his brother.
01:39Jackie clearly has everything she's bringing with her from New York.
01:43Whereas this time around, it feels like a fresh start for them.
01:46And I think they get to, like, properly try it out with each other.
01:51Or so you think.
01:52Or so you think.
01:52Because then in comes Cole and his little swoonie self.
01:57His little swoonie.
01:57And you guys admit to your real feelings for each other.
02:00But then in strolls Alex, who interrupts this reconnection.
02:04I almost started to believe her.
02:09You love him?
02:11I don't say why.
02:15I mean, did Jackie love Cole all along?
02:36Well, I don't know if she, I think in that moment, it's not like a planned thing that she's going to tell Cole, you know?
02:43So I think it's a very spur-of-the-moment thing.
02:46But I think the way she feels for both Alex and Cole is so valid and truthful, but they're just so different.
02:54And so I think that's, like, what's great about it is, like, she really does feel this way for both.
02:59I saw you and Alex at Richard's.
03:04You know, I was giving you space, like you asked, but I thought we had something.
03:10So I've been racking my brain trying to understand why you'd be with my brother again.
03:14We said that we were going to be friends.
03:16We've never just been friends.
03:18Cole, this is not me and Alex, we're...
03:22What?
03:23Why is it that you can't stay away from him, but you can stay away from me?
03:27I can't stay away from you, okay?
03:33Yeah, you know, it's interesting because Cole has this thing where he'll build up this momentum in his conversations with Jackie
03:41because ultimately, like, in his head, he's giving her space, he's being her friend,
03:47and he's trying to rebuild kind of what happened, you know, what destroyed everything.
03:52How do you rebuild that and still keep the same...
03:55Keep your, like, eyes on the prize type of thing, you know?
03:58You know what you want in the end, and he really has feelings for her, so...
04:01But she keeps shutting it down.
04:02She has this ability to access her discipline so well, and she does continuously.
04:08So the whole season is this confusion and frustration, and then he walks in on that at Uncle Richard's house,
04:13and it's just continual confusion and frustration, and then even in the final scene, as much as it, you know,
04:18feels good for, like, a blink of an eye to hear, I love you, it's followed with,
04:23okay, can I go? Can you stop? Like...
04:25Right.
04:25It's just continued confusion and frustration, and, uh, as everybody watching will find out,
04:31you know, you don't really get that resolve.
04:34Are you okay?
04:36I'm fine.
04:40Can we not do this again? I know you're not fine.
04:44Do you have the blonde hair now because you're in the midst of season three already?
04:48You betcha.
04:49Oh, I love it. I was like...
04:50Thank God.
04:51Thank God is right.
04:52But how much has life changed for you all since season one premiered?
04:57Miggy?
04:57Um, I mean, in a lot of ways, but in all the best ways, honestly.
05:02Yeah?
05:03How so?
05:04I just, you know, um, getting to work with these two, you know, they've become, like, my...
05:09Yeah, you are lucky.
05:10Isn't she?
05:11I am really lucky.
05:12She is lucky.
05:13They've become, like, my closest friends, so, yeah, it's been, it's been lovely.
05:16You seem like you've become family, close friends, so how meaningful is it to have each other
05:26on this ride that you're really going on?
05:29I actually worry sometimes because we're so close that I worry that, like, because we
05:37can, like, behave like family, like, where we'll, like, joke with each other and, like,
05:41kind of tease each other.
05:42And I don't ever want people to think we don't, like, I almost feel like if we like each other
05:47too much and get too comfortable, people might be like, oh, they actually hate each other,
05:51which is not true.
05:52We're just very, very tight.
05:53Yeah.
05:54That's important.
05:55It's great, though.
05:56Yeah, I mean, it's, like, truly a privilege because so often people, you know, don't like
06:01each other and, like, you're not, you don't like the people that you're working with, so
06:05to have, like, to be able to work with your close friends is such a dream.
06:08It means everything.
06:09I feel the same way.
06:10I work with a great group of people.
06:12I didn't mean to cut you off.
06:13No, I was just going to say, like, today's a perfect example.
06:16How so?
06:17I've, you know, we've never done, like, a full-on, like, in-person press day like this.
06:23Yeah.
06:23And, you know, everyone will tell you, like, oh, yeah, you know, prepare for this, prepare
06:27for this.
06:28We're just having a good time.
06:29Yeah.
06:29Like, together, like, it's, we're just hanging out and this doesn't feel like work.
06:36It just feels like we're chilling.
06:39You guys also work on location, correct?
06:49So I'm sure that helps the bond and that close-knit mentality as well, too.
06:55It became a much higher priority for the third season to get an apartment that had room for
07:00everybody because it's just inevitable.
07:02Wait, you all live together, too?
07:03No, no, no.
07:04Just for, just to hang out.
07:05Like, the first year I got here and I was like, you know, I've never, I don't, I don't know
07:09the city.
07:09I just, I get a place that I can, I know I can sleep in and is comfortable for me.
07:14Gotcha.
07:14And now by the third season, it's like, all right, so I get the floor to ceiling, windows
07:17because I want my friends to have a good view.
07:19I want to, I need at least a couch.
07:21Bougie, moving on up.
07:22Bougie, bougie is a positive word.
07:24You bought an ice cream machine to treat us all, too.
07:27I did, I just bought a ninja cream machine.
07:28I need to come and crash season three.
07:30I need to set this.
07:31He's got a Murphy bed.
07:32Now.
07:32I do.
07:33Ugh, well, I'm in, okay?
07:35Can you please stop running away from me?
07:46Don't go.
07:47I've never craved someone's attention.
07:57As much as you worst thought I should mention.
08:01I bet all my money that I will lose to you and hand you my life.
08:07You still open your door.
