00:00Here are my picks for the five most underrated teams in the NFL going into this upcoming National Football League season.
00:13The NFL is a league that is always changing, and from one season to the next, one game to the next, one drive to the next,
00:21sometimes it's tough to figure out what's happening.
00:24So, sometimes it's easy for teams to just cruise under the radar.
00:27I got five teams that I think people are undervaluing going into this 2025 season.
00:34Let's begin with the Arizona Cardinals.
00:38They have eight and a half wins, is the projected win total from the fine folks out in Las Vegas, Nevada.
00:45I actually am quite high on this football team.
00:50I think the division is wide open, first and foremost.
00:52I think Kyler Murray can still ball out a little bit.
00:55Like, he probably isn't going to reach the ceiling that people maybe thought he would when he was the first overall pick,
01:01but the guy can ball out a little bit.
01:02They have a couple very strong running backs.
01:04It's another year of development for Marvin Harrison Jr., so I think that this is a team that is going to progress a little bit.
01:12And then they added some more pieces on the defensive side.
01:15So, I think that this is actually a pretty good football team now, going in a division just kind of filled with good but not great.
01:22So, I think opportunities are there for Arizona to have a season that is above 500, which would get them over this eight and a half,
01:28which means I think they're being underrated.
01:30Up next is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
01:32Their win total is at nine and a half.
01:34You have Emeka Ibuka, who looks like he's going to be the real deal.
01:38Baker Mayfield is an established dude.
01:41And again, the division isn't that strong.
01:44I do think Atlanta and Carolina are probably a little bit better than they were a season ago.
01:48New Orleans certainly isn't.
01:50But I don't think either team has got to the point where I would pick them over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a game on a neutral site.
01:55So, the Bucs are still in a good spot to get four or five wins out of that division.
02:00And then we only have to get four or five more, and we're right there with the nine and a half.
02:04So, worried about a couple of injury issues there for sure.
02:08And I know the offensive coordinator left town, and that was kind of what was one of the selling points with Baker Mayfield and everything like that.
02:16But this is still a good football team, surrounded by not good football teams in that division.
02:21So, I like Tampa Bay as an undervalued team.
02:23Up next is the Green Bay Packers.
02:26Yes, this is a tough division, but I just, I love this roster so much.
02:31I think that they have appropriately focused on the defensive side the last couple of years.
02:36You have just an absolute bounty of weapons that Jordan Love can throw the football to.
02:44If he can stay healthy, I think that this is genuinely a team that can compete for a Super Bowl.
02:50So, they should be able to get me to ten wins.
02:52So, again, I think that the Packers are an undervalued play at nine and a half wins.
02:57Continuing on, our most underrated teams in the NFL going into the 2025 National Football League season.

03:22Minnesota Vikings are up next.
03:23They are an eight and a half win football team.
03:26I get the concerns at the quarterback position.
03:30J.J. McCarthy, we just haven't seen it.
03:33But, I just, I love the rest of this roster.
03:35And even with Jalen Addison not being in there for the first few games.
03:40With Jefferson, Hawkinson, Aaron Jones at the running back spot.
03:46I think they have a very solid offensive line.
03:48I think they have a fantastic offensive scheme.
03:50And then this defense is very, very good as well.
03:54So, like, this is, again, I understand tough division.
03:58But they had an amazing season last year.
04:01And I think people are forgetting that they got an amazing season out of Sam Darnold.
04:07And while that's like, hey, Sam Darnold, pretty solid quarterback now.
04:10That wasn't the talk going into last year.
04:13Last year, the talk was, well, is Sam Darnold going to be able to do what Kirk Cousins did two seasons ago?
04:18I think not.
04:20Like, he was there to just basically keep the seat warm for J.J. McCarthy to come in and take this job anyway.
04:25The fact that they got to a point where they were one win away from the number one seed in the NFC.
04:32Improved a few positions and just have a change at quarterback.
04:36Changing away from a guy who, until last year, hadn't done anything anyway.
04:40And they got the most out of him.
04:42I just, I don't understand it at all.
04:43So, I think that this is genuinely, I probably should have switched the order on this here.
04:48I think the Vikings are probably the most underrated team in football going into this upcoming season.
04:52The last one on my list, I put them at number one just because they had the lowest win total.
04:57I have the New York Jets.
05:00And I know some of the reports around Jets camp with Justin Fields having some accuracy issues and things like that.
05:06It doesn't sound great.
05:07But, again, I keep coming back to the sell around last season was this is a really good roster.
05:13Aaron Rodgers doesn't have to do a whole lot.
05:15Well, now, I think it's still a really good roster.
05:18And now, Justin Fields doesn't have to do a whole lot.
05:21I think with Aaron Glenn there pushing all the right buttons,
05:24I do think Fields has an opportunity to be an upgrade over Aaron Rodgers.
05:28So, I like the Jets at five and a half as an underrated team in the NFL for the 2025 season.
05:34So, those are my picks for the most underrated teams in the National Football League.
05:39Arizona, Tampa Bay, Green Bay, Minnesota, and the J-E-T-S Jets, Jets, Jets.
