00:00I'll tell you, good litmus test going to get off right off the bat,
00:02and that's Friday Night Football.
00:03That is the AFC West, and that's Patrick Mahomes,
00:07and it's Justin Herbert.
00:09Neutral site game, which if you're Kansas City, you've got to love.
00:11You don't have to go to Los Angeles in front of their crowd.
00:14This game opened up around a 2.5-point spread here in the summer,
00:16but now we're sitting at threes, Joe, across the board,
00:19and a total of 45.5.
00:20I always get nervous when you play overseas,
00:22because as I bring up last year,
00:24I remember watching the Philadelphia Eagles take on the Green Bay Packers
00:27and saying, I'm not going to grade either one of these teams.
00:29Whoever wins is just a war of attrition.
00:31The field is terrible, and good luck to the victors,
00:33and it was the Philadelphia Eagles, which gave them a bonus
00:35because they got a victory over an NFC opponent
00:37that you might see in the playoffs, and they did,
00:40and the Eagles had home field advantage,
00:41and that game with a win helped them get that.
00:43Now we take a look at Kansas City and the Los Angeles Chargers.
00:46Divisional game, but it's a neutral site,
00:48and technically a road team for both teams.
00:50I don't know if that surface is going to be an ice skating rink
00:53like it was last year, but that certainly could play into it.
00:56But looking at the favorite, Joe, do you agree on a neutral site
00:58that Kansas City Chiefs should be favored by about a field goal
01:01and also the expectations for this game for you?
01:04Absolutely.
01:05It should be a favorite.
01:07Listen, I think you should.
01:10There's some questions here with the Chargers, right?
01:12I mean, losing Slater like they did in training camp
01:16is just absolutely brutal.
01:18That is your blindside protector of Justin Herbert.
01:22He is no longer there.
01:23You brought in Najee Harris because you wanted to have this ability
01:26to be able to run downhill on teams, right?
01:30Well, they say he's available,
01:32but because he had a 4th of July eye injury,
01:35he hasn't played at all in the preseason.
01:37So how good and effective is he really going to be?
01:41And then on the flip side, Donnie,
01:42why did Kansas City have Mahomes and the starters
01:46actually play legit minutes in all three preseason games?
01:51I wonder why that is.
01:53I think they'll be ready to come out firing.
01:56I think they're bent on how it ended last year
01:59and getting blown out by Philly.
02:01I think they'd come out swinging in this one.
