Amazon will end its Invitee program, which allowed Prime members to share shipping benefits with non-members, effective October 1st, according to The New York Post. The company confirmed it will instead promote its Amazon Family program, enabling members to share benefits with one adult in their household, up to four teens added before April 7, 2025, and up to four child profiles. Benefits include fast and free delivery, exclusive events and deals, Prime Video, Prime Reading, and perks such as Grubhub access. Amazon’s Prime membership, priced at $139 annually since 2022. The company said July’s Prime Day was its biggest shopping event yet, with record sales for Amazon and independent sellers.
