During a press conference on Tuesday, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) was asked about reports that Rep. Deborah Ross (D-NC), Rep. Valerie Foushee (D-NC), Rep. Morgan McGarvey (D-KY), and Rep. Veronica Escobar (D-TX) will no longer accept donations from the American-Israeli Public Affairs Committee.

00:01Four of your members have now said that they will not be taking APAC donations for their campaigns.
00:06I'm just wondering if you agree with that position.
00:08I'm going to continue to raise money in the way that I've been raising money since my arrival in the United States Congress.
00:15I'm proud of the fact that the average contribution to my re-election campaign is $28 a person.
00:28That's the average contribution.
00:29If you want to write about anything, write about that.
00:33Because it's lower than almost any other member of Congress in the country.
00:41And that's the way that I will continue to raise money.
00:44In fact, that average contribution of $28 per person is lower than any of the nominees who are running for mayor in New York City.
