00:00So we are watching right now the destruction of the Centers for Disease Control.
00:05This is an iconic American institution that has kept kids and families safe for decades.
00:12Trump forced out the director.
00:15Her four top doctors that run the CDC on a day-to-day basis resigned.
00:20And this all happened for a simple reason.
00:22RFK Jr. gave them instructions to ignore science, to ignore doctors, and to implement his conspiracy-based political judgment.
00:34What happened is that there were recommendations on who should get the COVID vaccine.
00:38RFK Jr., with no medical background, no scientific background, decided that he objected to that scientific recommendation.
00:45And he told the CDC to substitute his judgment for the judgment of the experts.
00:50The CDC director wouldn't do that.
00:52She was forced out.
00:53And her top advisors resigned as well.
00:57This is a crisis moment for this country.
00:59Because those people are going to be replaced by lunatic right-wing conspiracy theorists.
01:06And all of a sudden, we are not going to be protecting this country from viruses and diseases any longer.
01:13We're going to be running a conspiracy racket out of the CDC.
01:17Now, RFK Jr. makes money off of undermining vaccines.
01:22He made money before he was there.
01:24He'll make money afterwards.
01:25And so this is consistent with everything else that happens in the Trump administration.
01:29We're hurting families.
01:31We're putting the security of this country at risk in order to enrich the top officials in the Trump administration.
01:37This is really important.
01:39People are going to get killed because of what is happening this week in the CDC.
01:42And everybody needs to pay attention.
01:43We're going to get killed.
