Local residents and business owners have been reacting to the death of a 22 year-old man in Leith this morning. Emergency services descended on the major Leith road, at the junction with Bonnington Road, shortly after 2am on Tuesday, September 2, following reports of a man having been found injured.
Despite paramedics’ efforts to save his life, the 22-year-old man died at the scene.
Police said that a post mortem examination will be carried out and that the death is being treated as suspicious.

00:28I've been speaking to locals who have told me of their shock about what's happened here.

00:39being treated as suspicious. While most locals were shocked about the incident,
00:44some told me they were not surprised that such a tragic event has happened.
00:50As you can see Great Junction Street remains closed here on Tuesday once climbing leaf and you can
00:55also see in the background a forensic tent has been arrested at the scene of the crime.
