00:00An exciting discovery!
00:03Archaeologists working at Pere Ancient City,
00:06one of the five main cities of the ancient kingdom of Komagen in southeastern Turkey,
00:11have stumbled on a study of the ancient Egyptian god Petykos,
00:15a rare find believed to be the first of its kind in Anatolia.
00:19It was dug from a 2,100-year-old tomb containing various figures and artifacts.
00:26We have now uncovered about 840 meters of the stairway to eternity,
00:34with nearly 200 meters excavated this year alone.
00:38As a result, highly remarkable tombs have come to light on both the eastern and western sides.
00:44The chamber we are currently working in is a hypodem tomb containing 14 burials built in Hellenistic style.
00:52For the first time in Pere Ancient City, we encountered such a structure.
00:57Most importantly, we discovered the figurine of the god Petykos,
01:02never before found in Anatolian excavations.
01:05Excavations are continuing around the sacred necropolis road and the garden of paradise mosaic.
01:13Petykos...
01:15And I think there was a kingdom of God.
01:16He lived here.
01:17He lived here.
01:18He lived here.
01:19I walked up one, and he was a part of a wall.
01:20When he was in the millennium, he helped me and半 in a while.
01:22He was in the same hole...
01:23in the other side of the hill.
01:24He was in the Egyptian city,
01:25he was in the middle of the sanctuary.
01:26And he was in the middle field of the city that maybe has changed.
01:28And it was in the first place where he was in the middle of the city.
01:30Even though, when he was in the middle of the city,
01:32the path of the city in the middle of the city and the city is a hard thing to go.
01:34And he left a little bit of something to go.
01:36And here at the city and the дор landscape in the white house there were on the way.
