00:005 Creepy Things I Found at an Unmarked Grave
00:03I was hiking in the woods behind my apartment complex when I came across this grave.
00:06There was no name on the headstone or epit.
00:08I could unfind any records of it online or any other information as to who was buried here.
00:13It was like it was intentionally left unmarked.
00:15But there were 5 things that really stood out to me.
00:17First, there was something buried in the grave.
00:19I brushed off the dirt and found these strange markings.
00:22It looked like someone had been visiting the grave at night,
00:25because there were also these strange symbols carved into the tree.
00:28I don't want to be too graphic, but I felt something hard in the dirt.
00:31At first I thought it was a rock, but then I realized it was a human skull.
00:34I quickly covered up the grave and tried to blend it back into the forest floor.
00:38I didn't want anyone to know what I had found.
00:40I carefully brushed off the dirt, and the more I brushed,
00:43the more I realized that the skull had been deliberately crushed.
00:46But this time it was deeper, like they were trying to dig up the roots of the tree.
00:50I don't know what they were trying to find, but I knew that I didn't want to stick around to find out.
00:54Whoever buried this person wanted to make sure that they didn't come back.
00:57I didn't think much of it at first, just some random rock.
01:00But then I started digging and realized it was a small wooden box.
01:03I picked them up and realized that they were part of a larger chain.
01:06It looked like the grave had been dug up recently,
01:08and whoever did it had only taken the bones and left the rest of the body parts behind.
01:12They were all facing the grave, and they were all at exactly the same height.
01:15It was like they had been planted there for a specific purpose.
01:18I opened it up and found these strange symbols carved into it.
01:21I have no idea what they mean, but they almost looked like coordinates or a map.
01:24Then, while I was digging, I noticed that the dirt around the grave was disturbed.
01:29It looked like someone had been digging around it recently.
01:31And that's when I realized that all four of the trees around the grave had these same symbols carved into them.
01:36That's when I decided to dig a little further.
01:38And that's when I made the horrifying discovery that there were human bones in the grave.
01:42But that wasn't the only thing I found.
01:43I also found these strange metal fragments.
01:46I'm not sure why they did this, but whatever the reason, I knew that I needed to get out of there.
01:49As I was leaving, I noticed that the ground around the grave was disturbed again.
01:53It looked like someone had been digging around it again.
