00:00Hi guys and welcome to DriveSpark and in today's video we're going to talk about the all-new

00:10facelifted Renault Kyger. Now it recently launched at a starting price of Rs 6.29 lakh at showroom

00:16and we recently drove the Renault Kyger as well the new facelifted one and here are our thoughts

00:22on the all-new Kyger and here is what has changed in the vehicle and what remains the same.

00:30So talking about the exterior features of the Renault Kyger, now the Kyger features a bold

00:37new grille with a brush of aluminium accents all around it. It also gets a revised Renault

00:42badge that looks really nice blends in with the front grille as well. The headlamps are now triple

00:48LED units set within the distinct ports and the front bumper has been tweaked as well. If you move

00:55to the side of the vehicle you will notice that the Kyger gets 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels that

00:59actually look nice and the brake calipers that are present in the front are painted in red. The

01:05updated Kyger also features a functional roof rail that supports up to 50 kgs of weight which is really

01:11helpful because if you want to mount something on top you can now do it. At the rear the Kyger now

01:17gets a c-shaped LED tail lamp and a high stop mount light. Now the revised bumper and the new Renault logo

01:23also features at the back as well. Other highlights of the Kyger include a piano black finish on the door

01:28handles, matte black window trims and graphic decals on the wheel arches and the new yellow colorway.

01:34Now let us move on to the interior of the all-new Kyger. Now once you've moved inside you will notice

01:39that it gets features like a black and white dual tone theme for the cabin. There are new door card

01:44inserts but all over the Kyger interior looks quite familiar. The dashboard is obviously dominated by the

01:507-inch digital instrument cluster and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system that features

01:55Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. And just ahead of the driver's display is a flat bottom steering wheel

02:00with steering mounted controls that makes it easier for you to change things on the instrument cluster

02:05as well as on the infotainment system. The front row gets manually adjustable seats that are now

02:10ventilated and also get three intensity settings. Now that is new. The automatic climate control and

02:14wireless charging pad are also included and there are a ton of storage spaces that you can get inside the

02:21Kyger. Whether it be door pockets, whether it be bottle holders, glove compartment and many

02:27accessible cubby holes. Now the back offers a pretty decent space. It also gets a 60-40 rear split

02:32allowing flexible use of the boot space. Boot space can individually hold up to 405 liters which is

02:39pretty decent as per my assumption and it also gets brushed aluminum inserts for contrast. Now there's

02:46decent legroom and the rear passengers and the rear ac vents do a more adequate job of keeping the

02:51rear cool. Now let's talk about the specifications of this car. The Kyger facelift offers the same two

02:57engine options. Nothing has been changed. There's a one-liter three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol

03:01and then there is a one-liter three-cylinder turbo petrol engine. The turbo petrol engine produces 100

03:06PS of power and 160 nm of peak torque. Transmission option includes a five-speed manual or a CVT automatic

03:14transmission. The naturally aspirated engine pushes out around 72 PS of power and around 96 nm of peak

03:20torque and you can get it with a five-speed manual transmission or a five-speed AMT. Now the CVT is

03:26only for the turbocharged engine options. Now the Kyger also gets CNG that has been retrofitted for

03:33people who are looking for a CNG unit or maybe want to save some bucks on fuel. Ground clearance of the

03:39Kyger has not changed. It continues to be 205 mm which is pretty pretty high and if you talk about safety

03:45features now it includes six airbags as standard electronic stability controller, reverse parking

03:50camera, reverse parking sensors, tire pressure monitoring system and the Kyger also now gets

03:56cruise control but that is available on the higher trims as well. Now we think the Kyger is actually a

04:01very good car and the way it looks now is absolutely fantastic. I mean it needed a change,

04:06it needed a facelift, it needed things to be changed inside and out and that is what the company has done.

04:11Car looks very refreshed especially with this color option that you get and let me tell you the price
