Renowned British sculptor Antony Gormley opens his first solo exhibition in Seoul, examining the relationship between humanity and cities. 'Think about contextua lizing that within Seoul -- this city that was fought so deeply over in the time of the Civil War, lost and found by North and South again and again -- I think it has a particular poignancy, political message and indeed a kind of poetry,' Gormley says during a press meeting. Titled 'Inextricable,' the two-part exhibition will open on September 2nd, running at the White Cube Seoul until October 18th and at Thaddaeus Ropac Seoul until November 8th.
