Once they figured out why he wasn't eating, he got SO much better. We talked to Taz about rescuing Murphy in the UAE, and his journey all the way to the UK to find his forever family!

00:00He was trying his best to survive outside.

00:04I'm sure he was scavenging through the trash, not really able to eat much.

00:18I've been rescuing here in the UAE since 2008.

00:22Unfortunately, in the UAE, we do have a lot of issues around pet abandonment.

00:30People sort of struggle to look after themselves, so they really don't have the means to look after animals.

00:43Because he was scavenging through the trash and so on, he ate a bone and it actually got lodged in his mouth.

00:50So he had a lot of work done on his mouth.

00:53He totally came to life. He was able to function again.

01:01This boy, his name is Mephison.

01:06I can't imagine the amount of pain he was in, like how long he was like that.

01:12But he is the sweetest cat ever.

01:14He's just so affectionate and so cuddly.

01:16We were really fortunate to be connected with the cat cafe.

01:24Taz sends rescues there to be adopted.

01:27Everyone like just fell head over heels for him and his little sweet personality.

01:38Murphy is like living the high life now.

01:41He's got his own home and his own humans to look after him.

01:46He's been through a lot, but he's made it out on the other side.

01:49Murphy deserves all the love and more.
