00:00You made a few comments about something needing to change and the players spoke very loudly with their performance just a few days after.
00:08Could you just clarify what you made by those comments?
00:15I know that when I speak these things, guys, to be really honest with you guys,
00:21because every time that we have or have in the future, one defeat like that, I'm going to be like that.
00:30I'm going to say that sometimes I hate my players, sometimes I love my players, sometimes I want to defend my players.
00:37I think I cannot, this is my way of doing things and I'm going to be like that.
00:43And I felt that in that moment I was so frustrated and annoying.
00:48And I know, again, that you have a lot of experienced people talking about the way I should perform with the media, to be more constant, to be more calm.
01:01I'm not going to be like that.
01:03So I'm trying to accept that and I'm going to be who I am.
01:07And that's why I have the passion that I have.
01:10And in that moment I was really upset and really disappointed because I felt that we had a very good preseason.
01:17We were playing better.
01:20We were being consistent in the way we played.
01:24We played badly 30 minutes against Fulham.
01:28And then that kind of performance, I was really disappointed with everything.
01:33But now it's a new game and I'm focused on the next game.
01:38You also said that you'll have time to think.
01:39And I appreciate, like you said there, you were a bit emotional after the Grimsby game.
01:44But you said after Burnley you'll have time to think during the international break.
01:48I just wonder, are you planning to have some conversations with Jason?
01:52No, I have always conversations with them.
01:56I'm just focused on this game and then I need to live this day by day.
02:01I am understanding that.
02:03And I'm going to be like that all the time.
02:05So prepare yourselves.
02:09I take on board what you're saying, but what you said, people then immediately go, well, he could walk away on Monday.
02:17It brings an air of uncertainty.
02:19Are you aware of that?
02:20Do you have to accept that as part of your emotion?
02:26Yeah, if you are in one way, if you have this kind of behavior, you have to understand that you have things that are good on that type of behavior, that you have the other side of the coin.
02:42So I understand that.
02:43And again, sometimes I want to quit.
02:47Sometimes I want to be here for 20 years.
02:49Sometimes I love to be with my players.
02:52Sometimes I don't want to be with him.
02:54So, again, I need to improve on that.
02:58It's going to be hard.
03:00But now I'm focused on the next game.
03:02Just in terms of some of your players, we were told yesterday that Zadil agreed for Garnaccio to go to Chelsea.
03:09We think that Rasmus is going to go to Napoli.
03:13But we also know that Kobe has said that he wants to leave alone because he doesn't believe that he's going to play many games.
03:22Could you just update us on all three of those situations?
03:25No, until he's official, I cannot say much.
03:29I want Kobe to stay.
03:31He needs to fight for his place.
03:33And we need Kobe.
03:34So that is not going to change.
03:36The rest, I don't know how he's going to finish.
03:39I understand that the players that are not playing in this moment are disappointed.
03:45But everyone will have the same opportunity to play.
03:50You have to fight during the week.
03:54Ruben, you said towards the end of last season that if you felt that the feeling this season was as it was the end of last season,
04:02maybe somebody else should take your place.
04:05Do you feel that the feeling has changed despite the results?
04:07I felt that after the game.
04:10I don't feel that now.
04:12So it's a little bit like that.
04:15I think that is the hardest part of the defeat.
04:18Sometimes it's not the result.
04:19It's the way we lost that game or draw that game.
04:23That is the thing that is hard to accept.
04:26Because we can do better.
04:28These are small things.
04:29Recover position.
04:31Fight for the ball.
04:33Running.
04:33All these small things.
04:34Sometimes we dropped a little bit the level.
04:36The good thing is that we now have the next game to put that level up and that is the focus.
