00:00I've been praying to God that God at least deliver me from this because sometimes I do preach

00:07and I preach about this and I'm doing the same thing that I'm preaching about.

00:11We have reduced the wickedness of pornography to a battle with weakness.

00:17When I was watching that clip, I felt this great conviction inside me

00:23and I felt like something's leaving me at that moment.

00:30Every spirit behind the addiction to pornography, masturbation, sexual immorality,

00:45that spirit of lust, I command you to come out right now, out in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

00:55My name is Bongseni and I am from South Africa.

01:01At an early age of eight, around 2009, so I used to stay a lot with my brother who is actually older than me.

01:12He happened to introduce me to watching pornography movies.

01:16At that time, I didn't even know what I was doing because I was young.

01:23And then later on, he introduced me to masturbation.

01:29And then now, as time goes by, I think around 2011, my family got born again

01:36and now I started attending church and understanding what's happening.

01:40So, now I started reflecting on what I'm doing and realizing that what I'm doing is actually wrong.

01:48And, yeah, God does not want it because now I'm getting taught about the things of God.

01:55This has affected me a lot in my high school years because I couldn't study most of the times.

02:01I'll be sleeping.

02:03So, even when I was doing my metric, my grade 12, my mother and my elder sister,

02:11they used to ask me, like, why are you sleeping?

02:14Tomorrow you're writing.

02:15And I was like, God's going to see me through.

02:17But probably it wasn't because I was trusting that God is going to see me through.

02:23There was something eating me alive.

02:25But in terms of exams, what would happen is that I would feel, like, this kind of tiredness.

02:33And all I could think of, like, to gain energy or maybe to gain strength to study.

02:41All I could think of was to go to a pornographic site and then maybe I would study.

02:46But only to find that when I do that, I get sleepy and I would just doze off.

02:54So, I'll be sleeping, like, during my exam times, maybe study, like, the day before.

03:01And after that, I found that, okay, I didn't make it on university and I decided to drop out.

03:09When it comes to church, this will always be hearing me, maybe I have to be serving at church

03:14and remembering what I did, like, yesterday night or I did in the morning.

03:19Like, it will be just hitting me inside.

03:22Like, why am I still going to church or why is God not delivering me from this?

03:30I've been praying to God that God at least deliver me from this because sometimes I do preach

03:37and I preach about this and I'm doing the same thing that I'm preaching about.

03:41So, this has been ongoing since the age of eight.

03:46And now, around my 20s, last year, which was 2023, I came across Brother Chris, I think

03:55it was on YouTube, if not on Facebook.

03:59Then I started following him.

04:02And then they said there's daily encouragement on WhatsApp.

04:05Then I joined that group.

04:07And then at the beginning of DCA, around April, so, the messages that were being shared,

04:16they were more based on, like, sexual immorality, lasting, things like that.

04:21I remember there was another message where Brother Chris mentioned that most young people,

04:27they are struggling from this situation.

04:30One of the greatest challenges facing believers in today's generation, most especially the young

04:40people of today's generation, is the internal reclassification of lust as weakness rather than wickedness.

04:57Here at God's Heart TV, we receive thousands of prayer requests.

05:03And one of the most common problems people ask for prayer concerning

05:11is the issue of watching pornography, masturbation, lust.

05:19People reach out and say, please pray for me because of my battle with the weakness of lust.

05:29I'm struggling with pornography.

05:31I'm in the bondage of masturbation.

05:34I can't help myself.

05:39We have reduced the wickedness of pornography to a battle with weakness.

05:45We have lowered the threshold of immorality to accommodate our selfish desires

05:55with the argument that, well, it's better than fornication.

06:00It's better than adulthood.

06:02Or no one sees me.

06:04Or I'm not harming anyone.

06:06But when you watch pornography,

06:14you are degrading

06:17a person made in the image of God.

06:25Someone's daughter.

06:28Someone's son.

06:29You are degrading a person to an object for your personal pleasure,

06:40for your fleeting enjoyments.

06:45And what you see as

06:49entertains

06:53is actually

06:54entanglement.

06:56Because

07:04any attempt

07:06to satisfy lust

07:08only

07:09intends

07:10and francis.

07:12When I was watching that clip

07:14that

07:15Stop Blaming Your Weaknesses,

07:18I felt

07:19this great conviction

07:21inside me.

07:22And

07:23I felt like something

07:24was leaving me

07:25at that moment.

07:26And then

07:27after

07:28after that,

07:30I realized that people are testifying

07:32that they've been delivered

07:33from the spirit of lust

07:34and

07:35watching pornography

07:38and masturbation.

07:39And only

07:40to reflect

07:41and say that,

07:42okay,

07:42for like three weeks now,

07:44nothing has been happening.

07:46I haven't been

07:46having the age

07:47to masturbate.

07:48I haven't been

07:49having the age

07:49to go and watch

07:50pornographic movies.

07:52And when I go to

07:53Facebook,

07:54I'll be scrolling

07:54and seeing people

07:56who are posting

07:57just everything.

07:59But there was no age

08:00like to sleep on the links

08:01and go back there.

08:03And then it was like

08:04a month

08:05and two.

08:06I was like,

08:07this can only be God.

08:09This can only be God.

08:10I've never

08:11in my journey

08:13of being

08:14of being Christian

08:15or of being alive,

08:18being this free.

08:19Like,

08:19I know that

08:20I do not have

08:21this age

08:21of masturbating.

08:22I do not have

08:23this age

08:23of watching pornography.

08:25and now

08:27where I am

08:28because where

08:28I'm actually learning,

08:29I'm able to study,

08:31I'm able to

08:32read my books

08:33without getting

08:34the age

08:34of anxiety

08:35or being depressed

08:36sometimes.

08:38So I was like,

08:39why not,

08:40thank God,

08:42I've been quiet

08:42a lot about this.

08:44This has been

08:45bottled inside me

08:46for like 15 years.

08:47And now

08:48that I'm free,

08:49why am I still

08:50keeping quiet

08:51about it?

08:51Why not share

08:52to other people

08:54all over the world

08:56what God has done

08:58for me?

08:59And I understand

09:00that you have

09:01a testimony

09:01involving your mother.

09:03On September,

09:04I joined

09:05the live

09:06interactive

09:06prayer

09:07on Zoom.

09:09So I was

09:10believing God

09:11myself

09:12for a breakthrough.

09:13And then

09:14my mother

09:15knowing that

09:16I am connected

09:17on Zoom,

09:18so she connected

09:19on YouTube.

09:21Later on,

09:21she called me

09:22and said

09:23that she

09:24used to have

09:25nightmares.

09:25And after

09:26that interactive

09:27prayer

09:28with Brother Chris,

09:30now all those

09:31nightmares,

09:32they disappeared

09:33and now she's

09:34sleeping like a baby.

09:36Amen.

09:37What I can

09:38advise people

09:39is that

09:40God is able.

09:42It doesn't matter

09:42how long

09:43you've been

09:44struggling with

09:45maybe the problem

09:48with lust,

09:48it doesn't matter.

09:50Many people

09:50might tell you

09:51that once you

09:52started,

09:52it can never

09:53stop.

09:54But with God,

09:55everything is

09:55possible.

09:56I saw it

09:57happening

09:57for me

09:59after a whole

10:01where I lost

10:02hope,

10:03but God

10:04actually

10:05showed up

10:07and He just

10:09delivered me.

10:11And I believe

10:12as well
