00:00The End
00:30Johnny, you better give Vinci's loan shocks the once-over.
00:32Okay.
00:33He won't give my outfit the once-over. Keep him away from it.
00:35What are you afraid of?
00:37I don't like the way your face is fastened on.
00:40Well, I'll be down tomorrow morning and give you a chance to change it.
00:43You're not running liquor anymore. You're in big business.
00:47I pulled you up out of the gutter.
00:49And you take a chance on ruining a $200 million gold vine to satisfy a grudge.
00:54Well, it's a fine way to pay me back for all I've done for you.
00:57Well, I wouldn't pay you back that way, Al.
01:00Well, I hear they cut the big shot detective down to side.
01:04Must be tough not being able to kick the boys around anymore.
01:07Making them tip their hat to you.
01:09But they still do.
01:12To a Bronx flatfoot.
01:13Fenner is Kruger's number one man.
01:31If anything happens to Kruger, and I'm going to see that it does,
01:35Fenner moves up.
01:36But I'm not going to let him, because I'm going to step into Mr. Fenner's shoes.
01:40You started this racket. You ought to have a share in it.
01:44I suppose Mr. Blake will let me have it.
01:46He'll have nothing to say about it. I'm running things from now on.
01:50If you want the Bronx and Harlem districts, they're yours.
01:53If you need protection, you'll get it.
01:56You don't trust me.
01:57I don't trust anybody.
02:00I've never seen it fail.
02:02Whenever mugs get into a scrap, the first thing they do is they start knighting each other.
02:07Say, I thought you were smart, Al.
02:09Keep on talking.
