00:00I think one of my superpowers is asking for help.
00:03You know, I, and maybe that goes back to humility and the idea of building great teams.
00:07And so I've always been that way.
00:09I've always, you know, if you focus on how you deliver value, then it becomes very natural
00:16that you have to have a team and you have to ask for help because at the level that
00:20we operate, no one delivers value alone.
00:23And one of the things I coach a lot of people, because people come to me and say, well, how
00:29do I network?
00:30Etc.
00:30And I'm like, look, don't think about networking.
00:32Think about connecting with people that can help you deliver more value or who you can
00:37help deliver more value and focus on that as opposed to someone who can get you your next
00:43job, because the more value you can contribute your company, the more likely you're going
00:48to get that best next job.
00:50And I've always thought about that with my clients, right?
00:53It's like, what do my clients need?
00:54They need me to better understand this.
00:56And when I was the general counsel, my client was actually the company.
01:00And what did they need from me?
01:01They needed me to understand the business better, to be a better general counsel.
01:05And so that focus on value has really been, I think, a big part of my career trajectory.
