00:00You're three and then it's us two.
00:02It got personal.
00:03In today's game, you're not playing for yourself,
00:05you're playing for the person your oar is named after.
00:09Judy!
00:10Do you think you can get that oar?
00:12What are you doing?
00:13The oar's there!
00:16Whoops.
00:17I had to push it over.
00:19Promises were made.
00:21If I win it for you, you should have given me.
00:23You'll get it.
00:25A rubbish clue.
00:27But promptly broken.
00:29Can't say anything.
00:35Oh, Joshy.
00:37He's put something really glaringly obvious and I'm missing it.
00:40Do you believe that?
00:41No.
00:42And it was game over for one more contender.
00:45The player who put their ex furthest away from where we are now is...
00:50Claire.
00:54Oh, my God!
00:55Leaning Tarapita!
00:57Now just four remain.
01:07After saying ciao to Claire in Pisa last night, the X-Bus is now motoring on to its penultimate Destination X.
01:14The four remaining players are just one stop away from the final and their chance to win 100,000 pounds.
01:28But as battle lines get drawn, tensions on the bus are still simmering for some.
01:34I've got to say, with the clue, I dropped humongous clangor.
01:40Yeah.
01:41But I was thinking you're going to get nothing out of it.
01:46It's going to be wasted.
01:47Really?
01:48I had a big reality check and now realise that I'm a 58-year-old bloke that's in the last four.
01:52Got to get me nut round things and got to get real.
01:53But I promise you, you know I won't go back on The Gentleman's.
01:54That's why I was upset.
01:55Yeah.
01:56Because I thought you're going to get nothing out of it.
01:57I dropped humongous clangor.
01:58Yeah.
01:59But I was thinking you're going to get nothing out of it.
02:01It's going to be wasted.
02:02Really?
02:03I had a big reality check and now realise that I'm a 58-year-old bloke that's in the last four.
02:12Got to get me nut round things and got to get real.
02:15But I promise you, you know I won't go back on The Gentleman's.
02:19That's why I was upset.
02:20Yeah.
02:21Because I thought no matter what, I didn't go back on The Gentleman's.
02:25You see how it looks like that from my point of view.
02:30Josh thinks that I've double-crossed him.
02:34And I hope I haven't made myself a target.
02:37But I'd rather go home knowing that my morals are all intact.
02:42I tried hard to win that for you as well.
02:44I was like, mate, I understand it.
02:47Yeah, yeah, yeah.
02:49But I promise you it won't.
02:51At Lee Lake, we had a gentleman's agreement that he would share the clue with me no matter what.
02:56And then it turns out he didn't share it with me.
02:59I've pretty much lost my trust in him completely now.
03:11I should have done my nails yesterday.
03:14Oh, God, I need to do mine.
03:16It's just a joke.
03:18I know that, you know, we haven't been the best of friends in this experience.
03:23But we're the last two girls.
03:25So if you ever want a girly chat, then...
03:27Yeah.
03:28I'm going down.
03:29Yeah.
03:30No, honestly, I feel like even saying that we haven't been the best of friends, I've come to peace with it.
03:39My eyes are now open to how everyone is playing the game.
03:44Josh and Saskia are such strong players, but my head right now is saying I can win.
03:49I just need to start being a bit more strategic.
03:52If you're thinking logically and strategically, Josh, he's been a lot of places.
04:03I can get to the final by making people doubt their alliances.
04:09Even just sowing those seeds will help my game play.
04:13I'm very aware that you against him in a challenge is going to be a big one for you.
04:21Yeah.
04:23Judith can see how much I want this and she just wanted to give me the heads up.
04:28Essentially, if I do want to win, I need to give myself as much advantage as possible.
04:33I know how good Josh is as a player.
04:35And do I really want to be up against that?
04:38Can I take Josh out?
04:40I don't know.
04:41I really don't know.
04:42Oh, man.
04:43The X-Bus is traversing a region which enjoys around 300 days of sunshine a year.
05:00You can play along, too, by following the link.
05:12What are you about to do?
05:15Give me think.
05:16I thought you were about to open that fridge.
05:18Remember, Darren?
05:19Open the fridge.
05:20If you want something from the fridge, you ask somebody else.
05:23Open it.
05:24Open it.
05:25Open it.
05:26Open it.
05:27Open it.
05:28Come on.
05:29No, Darren!
05:30What?
05:31You've got a bit of a risk of winning.
05:35Get it.
05:36Getting difficult, innit?
05:37It's been difficult from this time.
05:40Really, all I've done has survived.
05:42Really, all I've done, it just survived.
05:44Yes!
05:46Now it's, like, even the smallest of errors.
05:51In costume.
05:54With the four of us, Josh needs to go next.
05:58He's strong in challenges,
06:00and he has a strong relationship with Saskia.
06:04And I think he's been very tactical in creating that relationship.
06:08But I need my own alliance.
06:10I've just got a funny feeling that we're gonna go through.
06:14One of them's gonna go out.
06:15I need it to be that way.
06:19Yeah, me too.
06:21Josh and Sask have been together for a while now.
06:25Hopefully, it'll be a success in the challenge with Judith,
06:29and then it'll be...
06:30Oh, shh, shh.
06:31Players, I'm back.
06:43And the pleasure is all mine.
06:45You're going to need complete focus for this next game,
06:48as things are getting serious.
06:50We've been on the X-Bus for a long time.
06:52But as the final approach is, there is light at the end of the tunnel.
06:56So, split into two teams of two.
07:04We'll go as a two, then.
07:06Is that all that we use?
07:08Don't mind, really.
07:09You're saying that, like, you're having some second thoughts.
07:15Speak your mind.
07:16I didn't decide on the teams, but if you guys want to be together...
07:21Well, we also just assumed that you guys would want to be together,
07:25because of your alliance and that.
07:27I'm happy to do whatever you guys want to do.
07:43Players, please, put on your team tops.
07:46Get the X-Goggles on and depart the X-Bus.
07:51At this stage, I would love to see Judith on her way home.
07:56That would be lovely.
07:57Or, like, she's a very smart cookie and more of a threat than Dazza is.
08:16Oh, my God. I'm boiling.
08:19Wow.
08:23Oh, shit.
08:24Wow.
08:27What is this about?
08:29Oh, my God.
08:30Look at it, mate.
08:31It really was like the Indiana Jones set.
08:41It was amazing.
08:44We could have been in America, in the Wild West.
08:47I think it was a mine or cave.
08:51Something like that, yeah.
08:52I didn't really see too, too much, but if I had to take a wild stab in the dark,
08:56I'd probably go with somewhere in Spain, maybe Barcelona.
09:00It was all almost temple-like, with these great sort of carved-out caverns.
09:06Gosh, it is hot out here.
09:08It was boiling hot outside.
09:10I've never experienced anything like this before.
09:14Players, welcome to your first semifinal challenge, where you'll battle in teams of two for a chance
09:21to win a vital clue to Destination X.
09:24Very tense-y atmosphere, because both teams really want to win, and you're under loads of pressure.
09:31I know, and I feel like I have to win this challenge. I need this advantage.
09:38Each team has three unique symbols cut into the rock next to you.
09:44Memorize them.
09:46They've each been paired with three different symbols hidden inside the mines.
09:51You must play a series of puzzles to reveal them.
09:55You must memorize the matching symbols, return here, and pair them up correctly.
10:04The first team to do that will win a clue to Destination X.
10:11How are you feeling, guys?
10:14Not what I expected.
10:16My problem-solving skills will definitely be an advantage.
10:20In my day-to-day, I do that, and it's usually complex challenges.
10:26I feel pretty confident, actually.
10:28Being a pilot and all the training that comes along with it will give me the edge,
10:30remaining calm, collected, and have really good problem-solving skills.
10:35Hidden in the mines are other clues to Destination X.
10:40Good luck. Players, the challenge begins in three, two, one.
10:46Three. Three-leaf clues.
10:52Moon? Yeah.
10:54Circle across.
10:56Yeah. Again? Yeah, good.
10:58Yeah, across, across.
11:02Memory isn't my best point, but I just really, really, really want to win that clue at the end.
11:08Let's have it. All right, let's go.
11:12Ooh, it's cold.
11:16Oh, it's cold.
11:22Playing cards.
11:24Oh, wow.
11:25Could you carry an enemy?
11:28Players, in order to find a hidden symbol, you must solve an equation.
11:36Simply calculate the correct combination of colored sandbags to weigh 19 pounds by using the wall chart in front of you.
11:46All right, so 45, 45 equals 45.
11:54Okay, yeah.
11:55There was loads of different bags, and we had to place three bags on a podium in order to make 19 pounds.
12:01It takes nine dollars, 15 minutes, oh crap.
12:04Green is three, green is three.
12:06Judith's so on the ball with numbers and riddles and things, so I was just like, gosh, we're not going to get this quick enough.
12:14Just look at it slowly and you'll do it.
12:16I design nuclear power stations and I spend a lot of my time doing calculations.
12:21Um, you have to figure out what each color is first.
12:24Yeah, yeah, yeah.
12:25I was actually bottom set maths throughout school, but I feel like I've sort of managed to hone in my skills.
12:31Yeah, I back myself.
12:33Three, six, nine, twelve, fifteen.
12:34Fifteen.
12:36Fifteen.
12:36Yeah.
12:37Okay, so that's one.
12:39Pass me the red and then put it up.
12:41So, fifteen plus.
12:42I thought we need to get to 19.
12:44Blue, six.
12:45Oh, I'm done.
12:46I thought it was mine.
12:47Oh, I did it wrong.
12:48Fifteen.
12:49This is bread and butter for Judith.
12:51She's a really high up engineer and easy equations like these.
12:56I thought that she'd eat for breakfast, but she had a little bit of trouble.
13:00Oh, my God, I'm overthinking this.
13:02So, yellow is five.
13:05And then she said, oh, yeah, uh, them three, uh, they must be five because they had up to 45.
13:11I was like, I said, no, Judith, I have to be 15.
13:15Yeah, it's 15.
13:16Shit.
13:18Oh.
13:19What?
13:20Something times, no, two.
13:21Two, yeah, two.
13:22Yeah, two, okay.
13:23Yeah, that's two.
13:24So, 15, 16, 17, 17, 18, 18.
13:28Got it?
13:28Yeah.
13:30Red, blue, blue.
13:33Yeah.
13:33Oh, got it.
13:34Well done, players.
13:36One of the tokens in this drawer matches a symbol etched in the rock outside, and hopefully etched in your memory.
13:43Find it, flip it over, and memorize.
13:46Got it.
13:47I'm going to say, look for the back.
13:48That's it, that's it.
13:49Listen, that's it, that's it.
13:50Oh, okay.
13:50When I found the pairing, I was absolutely buzzing.
13:54We can't take it.
13:55We can go?
13:55Yeah.
13:56Yeah?
13:56I got annoyed at myself when I realized that Saskia and Josh had done it.
14:03Then I was just like, ah, I can't do it, and then Darren had to take over.
14:06So, you know what, to work that out, so we know that's 15, so there are two times 15 is 30, and that's one, isn't it?
14:14Yeah, but then how do you get?
14:15It's the blue one.
14:16Oh, it's 31.
14:16Yes.
14:17I thought it was three.
14:18Yeah.
14:19Think, so come on.
14:19When you're racing the other team and there's 100 grand on it, you know, I think anyone would find it difficult.
14:26Let's go.
14:28Your second missing symbol is hanging in plain sight, but plunged in darkness.
14:34Illuminate the cave by turning the wheel.
14:38Okay, you turn.
14:43Is it hard?
14:45So, the wheel, we'd have to spin for a while.
14:50Oh, sugar.
14:51And then it would reveal some symbols on the other side.
15:04Okay, go again.
15:06It would only keep on a light for a certain amount of time.
15:09Right.
15:09What are you saying?
15:10Wait, hold on.
15:11Um, okay.
15:14Right, do it again.
15:15Green is two.
15:15Yeah.
15:16Yellow is 15.
15:19Two green, one yellow.
15:20Yeah.
15:23This one.
15:25Yeah, so it's a start.
15:27Shit, I misread that so much.
15:31Going into the second challenge, we definitely knew we had to make up some time.
15:36Oh, my God.
15:39Go, go, go.
15:46Go again.
15:50Yeah, I think I've got it.
15:54Now, we've got a time advantage.
15:56And I wanted to make sure that me and Josh, we both see the symbol and the associated symbol with it.
16:00Yeah, that's good.
16:01Let's go.
16:02Okay.
16:02Got it.
16:06Got it.
16:09Got it, go.
16:10I've seen the symbol straight away.
16:13So we made up loads of time.
16:15Players, one final task.
16:28Untie the knots to retrieve the bag of symbols.
16:32What the hell?
16:35Untying ropes.
16:37Okay, I'm just gonna, you've got this.
16:39I kind of just left Josh to that one, you know.
16:41He's very quick on the ball, so I kind of just stood out of his way and let him get on with that.
16:46Yeah?
16:49Oh, shit.
16:50Here we go.
16:51Here.
16:51You notice behind me, Darren and Judy.
16:53I'm gonna let you do it.
16:57We're back in the game.
16:59We can do this.
17:04Darren was great.
17:05He noticed that you just had to pull out one of the ropes and that untangled everything.
17:10Maybe a little bit faster.
17:14We was catching up all the time.
17:16Oh, come on, come on, come on.
17:20Oh, shit, you've got to untie it, untie it, untie it.
17:22All right, I hope now, quick.
17:23Put the chips out, dash them on the floor.
17:26The adrenaline was just going through me.
17:28I wasn't allowing any sort of distraction to get in the way of quick.
17:33Oh, it's in my eye.
17:36Well, it's your one.
17:40Come on, let's go.
17:47We were fighting for the win.
17:49I am a very, very competitive person.
17:52Gloves off, right to the end.
17:57All right, come on, let's go.
18:00As we headed out of the mines, we managed to get there before the yellow team.
18:05At this point, with the other team being not that much ahead.
18:10That one's that. You go, go, go.
18:12If they got it wrong, we still had a good chance of winning.
18:16That one.
18:17I had a really good idea of what the three symbols were.
18:20That one's that. That one.
18:24No. No, this one.
18:26They had obviously put their symbols in, and they had matched.
18:38I'm over the moon that we won.
18:39Oh.
18:42Well done.
18:43Yeah, we kind of smashed it.
18:44Well done, guys.
18:47Well done, mate.
18:52I had the right hump.
18:56I just really wanted to win.
18:58I needed to win.
19:06Do you think that you got any useful clues from that?
19:10Yeah.
19:11Like what?
19:11Well, definitely the Mona Lisa.
19:14At the moment, my biggest clue is the Mona Lisa.
19:20It was posted on the wall.
19:21It said, come in soon on it.
19:25You were obviously in some sort of sandstone mine.
19:30It was a bit sort of catacomb-y.
19:32May have something to do with the Da Vinci Code.
19:35We often need to go to Paris, and there's some catacombs there.
19:38And the one that you said, the Kelly L.
19:42Do I know what that could mean, to be honest?
19:43We can have a bit of a soak on that.
19:45I think we're going towards France, or probably in France already.
19:49Might dip into another country before we come up, but I'm not sure.
19:55Look, we've got more than we had when we come here.
19:58Yeah, no, I don't know.
20:02I don't have love.
20:04I'm shaking.
20:06I hope this means something.
20:09Oh, interesting.
20:14Formula One car.
20:16Huh?
20:17Ferrari.
20:18Ferrari, is it Ferrari Italian?
20:19Yeah, but I don't think we're still in Italy.
20:22No, I agree.
20:24Oh, there's a racing track.
20:25The Ricard one in France.
20:28Interesting.
20:29What else did we see inside?
20:30There was Mona Lisa that said, she's got company.
20:33Playing cards.
20:34Yeah, playing cards.
20:36The first helmet said, Kelly L, Grace and Leon.
20:42On the helmets, saw some names.
20:45I'm still trying to figure out what they really mean, but I'm sure they have some sort of meaning.
20:50Maybe famous people.
20:52And wash your hands with soap.
20:54Wash your hands with soap.
20:55What does that mean?
20:55There was like a red soap, and it said something about Ma said.
21:03I think we just keep that.
21:04Yeah, yeah, honestly.
21:05Yeah.
21:06Oh, they were going to tell us.
21:07Yeah.
21:09Judith and Diane lost.
21:11So, judging by how the game's been, it hasn't really worked out too well for them.
21:14They should be pretty worried.
21:21I'm just concerned about how confident they're both getting.
21:28I'd even go as far as saying a bit patronising.
21:31Yeah, that's it.
21:33It's going that way.
21:34And I'm going to say it now.
21:36Nothing will please me more than just waving one of them out after the mat room.
21:40I've said it.
21:48As Destination X draws closer, so does the moment one player will be leaving the X-Bus.
22:06How did you find that?
22:10Friends.
22:14It was a bit of a mood change.
22:16And I just felt like it was sort of rubbing our noses in it a little bit.
22:21And I didn't like it.
22:23Was you guys' clue just a clue?
22:30Yeah, it was a clue.
22:30I have helped Darren quite a bit, but I can't really take his word anymore, so I'm sure as hell
22:37I won't be helping him.
22:38It's part of the game, isn't it, really?
22:41Like a physical clue?
22:45I can't disclose that information.
22:46Yeah, you don't have to tell us, so I'm just like...
22:50It was a clue.
22:51I'm fully engulfed in the game, even dreaming about the game.
22:58So, you know, naturally, I'm going to try and protect myself, self-defense.
23:02Josh and Saskia, as the winners of today's challenge, it's only right that you receive
23:19a special treat.
23:21Please head to the VIP room.
23:23Ooh!
23:26It's exciting.
23:31I'm actually excited.
23:32I don't know what to expect.
23:35What's in here?
23:36Oh, my God.
23:39What the hell?
23:44This is so weird.
23:45Cheers.
23:46Cheers.
23:48I can't believe this roommate did this.
23:50Yeah, I've been there before, actually, so it's my first time.
23:55Me and Saskia, obviously, we've been allies for a while now.
23:58They make a good team, but I know that she wants to win this just as bad as I do,
24:04so it's going to be an interesting...
24:06There's a couple of days, I reckon.
24:08Fight to the end.
24:12How are you feeling?
24:12Good, I think, yeah.
24:14Yeah?
24:14What about you?
24:15Yeah, I'm feeling good.
24:16I'm feeling good.
24:19We're getting close to the end now.
24:20Mm.
24:25Um, I'm going to have to have that conversation soon, I think.
24:28Mm.
24:29Which I'm dreading.
24:31Yeah.
24:31I am dreading it.
24:34Oh, God!
24:36I don't know what to do.
24:42The possibility of going against Josh is difficult.
24:49I think he'd understand, but I don't know, I just feel so guilty.
24:53I haven't even done anything and I feel guilty.
24:57What do you reckon?
25:00No hard feelings, though?
25:01No hard feelings.
25:03We're definitely getting closer, much closer to the end and I feel like we've made a very good team so far.
25:09Mm.
25:11Yeah, I've been thinking about it quite a lot.
25:14For once, I have not much to say.
25:16Really?
25:16Yeah.
25:20Watching him today and seeing how great he was in the physical challenge, I was like,
25:24okay, so my biggest alliance in this is about to become my biggest threat.
25:29So, I think I need to get ahead of the game and give myself the best chance possible before it's too late.
25:36I mean, let's get into the point now where hopefully it's going to be a straight fight,
25:40one-on-one.
25:41Yeah.
25:41That would be the ideal situation.
25:42Like a proper individual game.
25:44Yeah.
25:44Yeah.
25:44And then, may the best man or woman win at that point.
25:50Cheers, hon.
25:51Cheers to getting this far and cheers to have an alliance on team.
25:59We've barely had any flus.
26:05We've ready to go on her picture.
26:08See you soon.
26:08Only so, yeah.
26:13Yeah.
26:13I'm just feeling like we might be going to what's the museum?
26:18Yeah, up to an individual, there was like a catacombs.
26:25I'm done.
26:27Oh, yeah.
26:28I don't know if it's Kelly, Kelly, Kelly.
26:32I have even forgotten it already.
26:34It didn't make any sense.
26:38Because of the clues today, I don't know, Mona Lisa, Kelly L, Louvre in Paris.
26:46I sort of think there's a big French connection at the moment.
26:49They've always gone well, Charles.
26:53Don't ever think he's finished.
27:05With only one challenge under their belts,
27:08who does and who doesn't have enough information to guess where they are?
27:12Do you think you've seen enough to work it out?
27:15Follow the link to play along.
27:16She's got company, playing cards.
27:24This is, after all, the semi-final.
27:27So the players can expect a few bumps in the road ahead.
27:33What we're going to name today Armageddon?
27:38Mm-hmm.
27:39Armageddon?
27:39Yes.
27:40Do you think we've got...
27:41It's going to be Armageddon for someone, isn't it?
27:43Mm-hmm.
27:46What is this?
27:47Oh, shit.
27:50Oh.
27:51Oh, no.
27:53Oh, no.
27:58Got to need the toilet.
27:58Players.
28:13I thought I'd come along in person to deliver some news.
28:20You are just one map room away from the final.
28:28Oh, my God.
28:32And that map room is happening right now.
28:34What?
28:34Oh, mate.
28:38Where will be today's destination X?
28:41That's for you to figure out.
28:43That's mad.
28:43Oh.
28:48A surprise map room absolutely thrown a spanner in the works.
28:53I'm not confident at all.
28:55Where I think it is, I don't know if it is or not.
28:59It's a bit of a crash-bang wallop.
29:02Players.
29:04Remember, you as individuals are playing for 100,000 pounds.
29:12It's what we all dream of, eh?
29:15My mind is scrambled and I'm never really confident in the map room.
29:20I really don't know where we are.
29:23Oh, there's literally a one in four chance of me leaving the bus.
29:27It's a lot of pressure.
29:29I would be so gutted if I was eliminated right now.
29:35Good luck.
29:43You can play along, too, by marking your own X on the map.
29:48You have two minutes.
29:57All right.
30:07I think we're in France.
30:08I was definitely hoping to get some more clues or at least speak to Judith a bit.
30:14One of the clues was the Mona Lisa.
30:21Yeah, I don't really know.
30:22Darren and I had a discussion yesterday and we were pretty set on it being Paris.
30:29But I am torn.
30:33It was really, really sunny, so I'm kind of then leaning towards the south of France.
30:41It could be a Monaco.
30:44I think based on the actual challenge itself and the ultimate clue of the F1 car,
30:49instantly I thought, Monaco.
30:52Okay.
30:55Judging by the Formula One clue, I'm going to Monaco, although...
31:06Oh, no.
31:08All right, it's not very good if I can't find it.
31:12Oh, thank God.
31:13Monaco, Grand Prix, finish line confirmed.
31:19Obviously winning the challenge yesterday was very useful.
31:22The actual slots, cards on the floor, the F1 car.
31:30Should I just go for Marseille?
31:32No, I'm not kidding.
31:39Oh, dear.
31:40Come on, dude, jump out.
31:43You should imagine it's somewhere near the centre of Paris.
31:52Go there.
31:57With Darren opting for Paris, Josh and Saskia in Monaco and Judith near Marseille,
32:03there are nearly 700 kilometres separating the players' exes.
32:07How are you feeling?
32:08I just had to...
32:10Messy for me.
32:11I just had to...
32:14It's too different.
32:16My fire's not right.
32:27Aaron.
32:30Saskia.
32:33Judith.
32:34And Josh.
32:40We're your exes are all locked down.
32:44I have some more news for you.
32:50One of you will be leaving the X-Bus.
32:54But not yet.
33:01Oh, that's a tough...
33:02All will be revealed very shortly in the next challenge,
33:07where your ex might not stay where you have placed it.
33:11It's all still to play for.
33:25The twists and turns are just like, well, I don't know where the next one's coming from.
33:31I feel like I messed that up.
33:48I'm sure you haven't.
33:49I think it's a big old place.
33:52Yeah, France.
33:54Yeah, no, Paris.
34:02Did you go in Paris?
34:03No.
34:05You didn't go in Paris?
34:13Where'd you go?
34:14I went south because it was hot.
34:20Why is this the first part of this day?
34:23What do you mean all this?
34:25Wait, I didn't know this was going to happen.
34:32Judith.
34:33I think this is a major play on your part.
34:36You can think that if you want, Darren.
34:43Judith says that she did do it on purpose.
34:47And I can't really see why she would tuck me up.
34:50But I'm on the back foot.
34:53And now I need to really, really have it.
34:58Last chance to learn, now or never, baby.
35:01If you have the option to make someone closer or further, what are you doing?
35:06Judith.
35:07Huh?
35:07Judith.
35:09Further?
35:10Yeah, why not?
35:11Let's hope we get the option.
35:14It's going to be easy now.
35:18Judith raised concerns about Josh.
35:21I don't know if that was gameplay to get into my head or out of genuine concern.
35:27I don't know.
35:27Not too sure.
35:29But half of me knows that Josh could turn at any point.
35:33And is he telling the truth?
35:35I'm just trying to lead with my own head.
35:38Trust my own gut.
35:39But it is just so difficult.
35:41I'd be quite if I could get him at this point.
35:47He's chosen every time that he's been the reason that we're challenging.
35:52to take someone out.
35:58I'd be quite different
35:59if I could get him out at this point.
36:02He's chosen every time.
36:04He's been the reason
36:05they're more challenging.
36:08I do think
36:10Darren and I should really stick together
36:12and I think
36:13having an alliance will help me get to the
36:16final, but I definitely
36:18feel like Josh
36:20is the biggest threat here.
36:22So the key
36:24thing for me at this stage
36:26is to get Josh out.
36:28But we need Slavskia onside.
36:39How are you feeling
36:40about the other two?
36:43Well,
36:44I know what I'd
36:46do if I could take someone
36:48out. I know we're all being.
36:50It'll be the strongest player.
36:51Because then that would give me the best chance.
36:54Which is...
36:55I think I've started to realise that.
37:03Well,
37:04we're in a game now,
37:06for 100k.
37:07It's a four-way thing.
37:09As soon as it's going to be three.
37:12You're right.
37:13You are right,
37:16you're right,
37:16you're right,
37:16you're right.
37:18My head's just spiralling.
37:20Judith and Darren have both
37:21raised their concerns about Josh
37:23as a threat,
37:24but when I
37:25have to make big decisions,
37:26I definitely can't make them
37:28quickly.
37:28so I need to put my
37:30big girl pants on
37:32and make some hard decisions.
37:35I've no doubt
37:36that when push comes to shove,
37:39old Joshy boy
37:40will be slung under the bus
37:41and chewed up
37:42with the exhaust on the way out.
37:44But she's got to be honest
37:46with herself first.
37:47Players,
37:54you may have already
37:56placed your X's,
37:57but this is the semi-final
37:58and nothing at this point
38:00is certain.
38:02It's now challenge time.
38:04Yes.
38:08You know the drill.
38:11X goggles on
38:12and off the X bus.
38:14Let's go.
38:16Oh, man.
38:17So it just got hotter.
38:31Oh, wow.
38:33Oh, my God.
38:35Oh, wow.
38:41We are stood
38:43outside some
38:44Star Wars-y looking
38:46building.
38:48I am starting
38:49to panic a bit
38:50because
38:51not only is it
38:52obviously not in Paris.
38:54You can't even see a city
38:55and you can see for miles.
38:57So I am
38:58absolutely
38:59way off the mark.
39:02Pretty funky looking
39:03building, isn't it?
39:04I wonder what that is.
39:05I've never been to Marseille.
39:06I don't know what Marseille
39:07looks like
39:08and we're in this
39:09mountainous area.
39:10I'm definitely
39:11concerned about
39:12where I am.
39:20What better place
39:22for a game
39:22of observation
39:23than an observatory?
39:26Let me come down
39:27and I'll tell you more.
39:28whatever is about to happen
39:32is going to decide
39:33the final three
39:34and, yeah,
39:36pretty exciting, actually.
39:37I can pretty much
39:38taste the final three
39:39at this point.
39:40I can almost touch it.
39:41You have all
39:56already placed your exes
39:58on where you think
40:00your penultimate destination
40:01is.
40:02That's done.
40:03Who's feeling confident
40:05in their decision
40:05and who's feeling worried?
40:11Well, these distances
40:12are not set in stone.
40:17If you're beginning
40:18to question your position,
40:20you now have the chance
40:21to change your ex
40:22and your future
40:24to get yourself
40:25into the all-important final.
40:29And within touching distance
40:32of the £100,000 prize.
40:36I think whoever wins this
40:38is going to have
40:38a huge advantage.
40:40But today,
40:41has been, like,
40:41my worst day here.
40:43I'm emotionally drained,
40:44but I know
40:45what I need to do
40:46to win.
40:48Here's how it's going to work.
40:49It's a stick
40:50or twist challenge.
40:53One at a time,
40:54I'll call you
40:55into the observatory
40:56where you'll see
40:57close-up images
40:58of various landmarks
41:00and celebrities.
41:02Each image
41:03is worth
41:04a set number
41:05of kilometres.
41:07You'll be asked
41:08before each image
41:09if you want
41:10to stick
41:10or twist.
41:11If you can
41:12correctly guess
41:14the image
41:14as it zooms out
41:16and in the allotted time,
41:17you will then
41:17bank those kilometres.
41:20The amount
41:21that you win
41:22will give you
41:23the power
41:24to move your ex
41:25closer
41:26towards destination
41:27X
41:28or impact someone else
41:30by moving their ex
41:32in a straight line
41:33further away.
41:37Fail to answer correctly
41:38within the time
41:39and all your kilometres
41:41will be lost.
41:43I'm not confident
41:44where I've got my ex,
41:46so this could be
41:47an absolute
41:48massive lifeline for me.
41:50If I don't move my ex
41:52and if I could
41:53with Judith
41:54pull our mileage
41:56then you could
41:56move someone else
41:57double the distance away.
42:00Will it pay
42:01to be cautious
42:02or will you gamble
42:04on one last
42:05roll of the dice?
42:07This challenge
42:08opens everything up.
42:11Anyone could go home.
42:12Nobody's safe.
42:14Somebody
42:14will be leaving
42:16after this challenge.
42:18I know
42:20who my threat is
42:21and
42:22yeah,
42:24I think
42:24I just need to
42:25get over
42:26any sort of alliance
42:28that I've made now
42:28and keep my eyes
42:29on the pros.
42:31Josh,
42:32you're up first.
42:35Let's begin.
42:38Good luck.
42:39Good luck, mate.
42:40See ya.
42:48Josh.
43:01Welcome to the
43:02Observe Church.
43:05I feel like
43:05if I was to get
43:06an advantage
43:06from winning
43:07the challenge today
43:08I'll definitely
43:09be using it on Judith.
43:10She's a big threat.
43:12Sort of self-defense.
43:13I feel like she's
43:14coming for me
43:14so I hope I can get
43:15to her before
43:16she gets to me.
43:16You ready to play?
43:19Yes, I'm ready to play.
43:20OK.
43:21You have ten seconds.
43:23Three images in all.
43:25This first one
43:26is worth
43:2750 kilometres.
43:28Good luck.
43:29Your first image.
43:31You've got ten seconds.
43:38The Louvre.
43:39It is the Louvre.
43:40Well done.
43:4150 kilometres.
43:43Now then,
43:44you can stick with that
43:45or you can twist.
43:47The next one
43:47is worth
43:48100 kilometres.
43:50OK?
43:51If you twist
43:52and you get
43:52the next one wrong
43:53you lose
43:53the 50 kilometres.
43:55Do you want to
43:55stick or twist?
43:57Um,
43:58I'll twist.
43:59You're going to twist.
43:59Yes, please.
44:00Image number two.
44:09I'll lose Hamilton.
44:10Is the right answer.
44:11Is the right answer.
44:12OK, you now have
44:14150 in total.
44:15OK.
44:16Again, I have to ask you,
44:17do you want to stick with that
44:19or do you want to twist?
44:20And if you do choose to twist
44:21and you get it wrong,
44:23you lose the kilometres.
44:26Oh, good.
44:28Yeah, go on.
44:29You're going to do it?
44:30I'll do it.
44:30It's going to twist.
44:31OK.
44:33For 150
44:34and to take
44:35a total of 300 kilometres
44:37here's image number three.
44:46Uh, Divine.
44:47Is it more Divine?
44:48Kira Divine?
44:49I have no idea
44:49who that is.
44:54Penelope Cruz.
44:56No idea.
44:59I got too confident.
45:01I should have twisted again
45:02because I had no idea
45:03who that lady was.
45:04It's like a stab
45:05in the dark, really.
45:07But like an idiot,
45:09I'm trying to keep
45:10myself confident,
45:11but it's quite hard
45:12to do that.
45:13Your ex is going to stay
45:14where it was.
45:16I suppose now
45:16you've just got to hope
45:17that nobody else
45:19moves yours.
45:20Cheers.
45:20Thank you, guys.
45:21Cheers.
45:31Oh, goodness.
45:37Saskia,
45:39you ready for your
45:39first picture?
45:40I think so, yeah.
45:42I think in order
45:44to win this game,
45:46any sort of emotional guilt
45:47kind of needs
45:48to just get out of the way.
45:50So I'm just trying
45:50to get back
45:51in the game headspace.
45:53I need to just trust
45:54and believe in myself
45:54and absolutely smash it,
45:57whatever comes my way.
46:00Wait, are we doing it
46:01or not?
46:02Of course.
46:03Seriously?
46:03I promise.
46:03Okay.
46:04I won't go back on it,
46:05you know that.
46:06Yeah.
46:06Good luck.
46:07Yeah, thanks.
46:08You too.
46:10Armageddon it is.
46:12No more,
46:12Mr. Nice Dezza.
46:15I need to win
46:16and I need to win
46:17now.
46:20I really,
46:21really, really hope
46:22that Darren
46:23sticks to our plan,
46:25our alliance,
46:27because literally
46:28if two people
46:30use their advantage
46:32on one person,
46:33that's enough
46:35to send somebody home.
46:36Darren,
46:37come and join me
46:38in the darkness.
46:40Judith.
46:41Hello.
46:42Welcome to my man cave.
46:47Now this one
46:48is worth 50 kilometers.
46:51Okay?
46:52Okay.
46:54Are you out of the tower?
46:56No.
46:58The Louvre.
46:59The Louvre.
47:01Oh, the Louvre.
47:03You got there
47:04just in time.
47:05Bloody hell.
47:06Well done.
47:07Now,
47:08you've got 50 kilometers.
47:10Okay?
47:11You can stick with that
47:12or you can twist.
47:14The next one
47:14is worth 100 kilometers.
47:17I'll twist.
47:18You're going to twist.
47:19Yeah.
47:19In for a penny, Rob.
47:22Exactly.
47:24For 100 kilometers,
47:26image number two.
47:29Oh, goodness.
47:30Um,
47:31Lewis Hamilton.
47:32Yes.
47:33Lewis Hamilton.
47:34Oh, dear.
47:37Uh,
47:37Lewis Hamilton.
47:38He's the right answer.
47:40Stick or twist.
47:41Let's do it.
47:44All right.
47:45I just want to collect
47:46as many kilometers
47:48as I possibly can
47:50in this game.
47:50So I'm just going to
47:51try and go
47:52all the way
47:53because I'll use it
47:55to take Josh out.
47:57I've got to go for it.
48:01You're going to go for it?
48:02Go.
48:03My whole future
48:04in the game
48:05hinges on
48:06both myself
48:07and Judith
48:08doing well
48:09and
48:09Judith sticking to the deal.
48:12Otherwise,
48:13it's
48:13to eat out of Dazza.
48:16I think I'll play
48:17one more time.
48:17You're going to play?
48:18Yeah.
48:19You're going to twist?
48:20Yeah.
48:20All right.
48:20If you get it wrong,
48:22you'll lose everything
48:23you have so far
48:23in this challenge.
48:24You understand that?
48:25I understand.
48:25Okay.
48:26Okay.
48:28I like to play things
48:29on the safe side
48:30when I am in the real world.
48:32I definitely don't like
48:33to gamble
48:33but we would be
48:34banking kilometers
48:36and I'd need kilometers
48:37because there's no
48:38playing it safe.
48:39I just want it so bad
48:40and it's definitely
48:41now an individual game.
48:43So game on
48:45and may the best player win.
48:52Oh, God.
48:56If you want to move
49:05your ex
49:05you have two minutes
49:07before it's revealed
49:08who will exit the bus
49:09and who continues to play
49:11for the £100,000 prize.
49:13We have our finalists
49:22and there's nothing
49:23any of them can do about it.
49:29How did that challenge go
49:31for everyone?
49:32Fantastic.
49:33Best one I've ever done.
49:34I've known from the start
49:45that this probably
49:46isn't going to be
49:47a happy ending.
49:48You've definitely got to
49:50expect the unexpected.
49:53Anyone can leave
49:54and it literally comes down
49:56to KM
49:57it is definitely
49:59anyone's game
50:00at this point.
50:12It's that time.
50:14It is.
50:14Thirteen players
50:33started on this
50:34incredible journey.
50:36One by one
50:40you
50:41saw them all off.
50:44Now
50:44just four of you
50:46remain
50:46but only three of you
50:49will be heading
50:50into the grand final
50:51having played the game
50:53of their lives.
50:57Sadly for one of you
50:59the journey ends now.
51:01As a result of
51:05the observatory game
51:06in no particular order
51:08three players
51:09whose X is
51:10closest
51:11to where we are
51:12and are going
51:13to the final

51:57Josh
52:09Penelope Cruz
52:17I'm so sorry.
52:19Damn.
52:20Your ex
52:21stays
52:22where it is.
52:23Coming.
52:27Darren

52:34your final destination.
52:46Well done guys.

53:40a privilege

53:44to get to know
53:45you all.
53:50Jackie P
53:51here I come.
53:53oh my god
54:10Monaco
54:13what a view
54:17absolutely stunning
54:19nowhere near where
54:21I put my ex
54:22the principality
54:24of Monaco
54:25is the jewel
54:26of the French Riviera
54:27home to over
54:2912,000 millionaires
54:31200 super yachts
54:33the most glamorous
54:34Formula One event
54:35on the racing calendar
54:37and
54:38the world famous
54:40Casino de Monte Carlo
54:41where fortunes are won
54:43and sadly lost
54:45the reason I got it
54:49so wrong
54:49is because
54:50I weren't really
54:51paying as much
54:51attention
54:52that I should have
54:54been
54:54so
54:54yeah I should have
54:55picked up more clues
54:56but perhaps that's
54:57why I'm standing here.
55:00The Mona Lisa
55:01was the only one
55:02that really sort of
55:02stuck in my mind
55:03that's obviously
55:05in Paris
55:06so I had nothing
55:07else to go with
55:08it's a bit hard
55:10to take in
55:10actually standing
55:12in this incredible
55:13principality
55:14of Monaco
55:15I've had a great
55:17experience
55:18I'm pleased
55:19I didn't stab
55:19anyone in the back
55:20I can hold
55:21my head up
55:22I
55:22Setting off
55:26from Pisa
55:27the players
55:28travelled along
55:29the stunning
55:29Italian Riviera
55:30into France
55:31for their first
55:32challenge
55:33at the former
55:34ochre mines
55:35Les Mines de Briot
55:36in the Loubron
55:37National Park
55:38Provence
55:39then headed south
55:40to the Côte d'Azur
55:41Observatoire
55:42in Nice
55:43before crossing
55:44the border
55:44into Monaco
55:45So
55:50did you spot
55:51all the clues
55:51to Monaco?
55:52I left a treasure trove
55:54in the mine challenge
55:55the image
55:56of the Mona Lisa
55:57with the message
55:58she's got company
55:59misdirected Darren
56:01to the Louvre
56:01in Paris
56:02but if you take Mona
56:04and add the shortened
56:06version of company
56:07Co
56:08it leads you directly
56:09to Monaco
56:10there were five
56:12named helmets
56:13one was Grace
56:14and another Kelly
56:15in reference to the movie star
56:17Grace Kelly
56:18who married Prince Rainier
56:19III of Monaco
56:20there were four playing cards
56:24in the dust
56:25these were a nod
56:26to the principality's
56:27world famous
56:28Casino de Monte Carlo
56:30but the final clue
56:31at the mines
56:32was a toy racing car
56:33which Josh and Saskia won
56:35and in the observatory
56:36Do you want a stick
56:38or twist?
56:39A twist
56:40The stick or twist game
56:42was a nod
56:43to Monaco's
56:44casino heritage
56:45and there were
56:46more motor racing clues
56:47a picture
56:48of the racing driver
56:50Lewis Hamilton
56:51a building level sign
56:52that indicated
56:53they were on floor
56:54F1
56:55all of which
56:56pointed towards
56:57one of the most famous
56:58Grand Prix tracks
56:59Monaco
57:01and the last clue
57:03was the camera sign
57:05in the observatory
57:06which was an anagram
57:07of Monte Carlo
57:08it was all there
57:11just waiting to be discovered
57:12well
57:14there's certainly
57:15worse places
57:16I could have been
57:17dropped off at
57:18next time
57:21the race is on
57:22first person to find me
57:25will walk away
57:26with
57:26£100,000
57:28everything
57:30is on the line
57:31I've only got one shot
57:33and I'm gonna take it
57:34to become
57:34crowned the winner
57:36I am capable
57:37of winning this
57:38people underestimate me

57:44and that final
57:56is tomorrow night
