00:00Two children were killed and 17 others wounded on Wednesday, when a gunman opened fire during
00:07Mass at a Catholic school in Minneapolis, just three days into the new school term.
00:14At this point, we know we have a total of 19 victims from this tragedy.
00:19Two were young children, ages 8 and 10, that were sitting in the pews at Mass when they
00:25were shot and killed.
00:27They were pronounced deceased on the scene.
00:30There were another 14 children, between the ages of 6 and 15, that were injured by gunfire.
00:37There were also three adults in their 80s that were parishioners here, attending Mass, that
00:44were also shot in this incident.
00:46The suspected shooter, 23-year-old Robin Westman, died by suicide at the rear of the church.
00:52The shooter was armed with a rifle, a shotgun, and a pistol.
00:56This was a deliberate act of violence against innocent children and other people worshipping.
01:04The sheer cruelty and cowardice of firing into a church full of children is absolutely incomprehensible.
01:16Additional firearms were later recovered from properties linked to Westman.
01:21Authorities confirmed he had no criminal record and appeared to have acted alone.
01:25Investigators are reviewing an online manifesto believed to have been posted by Westman, which
01:31has since been taken down.
01:33Officials said the video suggested he had struggled with depression and harbored a fascination with
01:38past mass shooters.
01:39In response, President Donald Trump ordered flags to be flown at half-staff nationwide in mourning.
