00:55Y me he matado y me hecesito todo su suerte, y me he comentado,
00:58¡This is the greatest game ever!
01:02One of the folks I worked with said,
01:05hey, do you want to apply to be the lead tester for Oblivion?
01:08And I was like, where do I sign up?
01:10Let me get you my resume as soon as I can.
01:14And then from then on, I was hooked.
01:20I think I think of Oblivion in hindsight as charming,
01:24mainly because of the exposure of the remaster.
01:28It's like the trip down memory lane.
01:30And I remember so much about it that I thought I forgot.
01:34Being in the behind the scenes for the making of Oblivion
01:38and getting to sit on the couch while odd at the time.
01:43But it was like that first time where it was like,
01:45I was sort of on the inside and that was exciting.
01:49And then like as a QA lead,
01:52the sort of project lead production role opened up.
01:58And then we get into Fallout 3,
02:01which was the first game we had guns in.
02:03That was like this shift.
02:05I was working on Oblivion
02:07and Emil had sent around an email
02:09asking for ideas for sort of scrap types of weapons
02:14and ideas for weapons to be added to Fallout 3.
02:17So I pitched this idea of a gun that shot railroad spikes,
02:23which ended up being brought to life by the team
02:27as the railway rifle.
02:29So that was my first...
02:31They saw my idea and they liked it.
02:33Right?
02:34It was a very exciting,
02:35a very exciting time in games.
02:39And then we go into Skyrim,
02:40which is like,
02:41oh, it's all the great stuff in Oblivion, but better.
02:44We're just making it all better.
02:57And then we get into Fallout 4
02:59and we had more,
03:01I'll say modern action-oriented first-person shooting.
03:04And I worked really close with the team of folks
03:09to get that portion of the game working.
03:11So that was super exciting.
03:13It was kind of a case where Todd was like,
03:15no, no, you're the right person for this.
03:17You guys go.
03:18And he just let us go off
03:19and do our thing.
03:21And we came back a couple months later
03:23and we're like,
03:24ta-da, guns!
03:25And we got to show it to the team
03:27and the team was really excited about it.
03:29And it's like one of those moments
03:30that's sort of like,
03:31oh, we're doing it.
03:32We can do it.
03:33We can do it.
03:34It's going to be awesome.
03:35And it's sort of like,
03:36the team gets excited about it
03:37and gets behind the project.
03:40Got to work on Dogmeat a lot with that team.
03:42Like, I mean, come on.
03:45You know what I mean?
03:45It's like so much fun.
03:49Let's go, boy.
03:5076, first multiplayer.
03:55There was a summer during 76
03:58and it was like just this summer of adventure
04:00going through the missile silo
04:02over and over again,
04:04launching nukes.
04:05You know, I still look back
04:07and I was like,
04:08you know, it was hard work,
04:09but that summer was just like,
04:10it was like a blast.
04:11I didn't mind being up late
04:12because we were just like
04:13a couple of guys playing games together.
04:16It was a blast.
04:20But Starfield is sort of the culmination.
04:24It does so many of the things
04:26that those other games do,
04:28but like four times as much in a way.
04:31Like everything is,
04:32everything is what we did before,
04:34plus more fidelity,
04:36more complexity.
04:39To me, Starfield was like making four games.
04:42You have your,
04:43I'm running around shooting aliens
04:44and space guys.
04:46You have your,
04:46I'm flying around in a spaceship,
04:48shooting other spaceships.
04:50You have the ship builder game.
04:52You have the outpost game.
04:55Starfield to me was like making four games at once.
05:00I think as it comes to Starfield,
05:03I'm really excited for players
05:04to see what the team's been working on.
05:06We have some cool stuff coming,
05:07including free updates
05:09and features that players have been asking for,
05:11as well as a new DLC story.
05:13I can't go into all the details just yet,
05:15but I will say part of the team
05:18has been focused on space gameplay
05:20to make the travels there more rewarding.
05:23We're also adding some new game systems
05:24and a few other smaller delights.
05:27There's also some really interesting stuff
05:29coming down the pipe
05:29from our verified creators.
05:31There's some fun stuff.
05:33I just want to say thanks.
05:34We really appreciate the support
05:35and the enthusiasm.
05:37We can't wait to get it
05:38into the hands of our players.
05:45We'll be right back.
