Oregon Ducks Inside Linebacker Bryce Boettcher discuses what it will take to achieve his goals for the season
Transcript
00:00How special, though, that means you've been here for so long,
00:05you've seen so much, to know that you've got at least 13, 14, 15 games left.
00:11It's great, man.
00:12I'm excited.
00:13Like I said, I didn't think I'd be here.
00:15I thought last year was my last year, so I'm just grateful I get another one.
00:18You know, this is my favorite place to be in the world, so I'm grateful.
00:21You said that you are strictly business.
00:23You're here for one goal and one goal.
00:25What's it going to take to achieve that?
00:27I'd say just sticking to my process and the team sticking to our process.
00:30You know, we just got to go day by day.
00:32We can't look in the future.
00:35You know, just got to worry about tomorrow, worry about tonight.
00:38And, you know, if we do that and we just take care of the little things,
00:41you know, our goal will take care of our goal.
00:43You mentioned putting on weight.
00:45Obviously, you've kind of been steady doing that since you've been picking up
00:47snaps on the defensive side.
00:48Have you seen your role change with those physical changes?
00:51Like, are you more of a run-stopping guy versus pass coverage or, you know,
00:55anything like that?
00:56I'd like to think, you know, and say I'm dynamic and I can do both.
00:59I can drop back in coverage and also stop the run.
01:01I'm definitely a downhill football player, so when they hand the ball off,
01:04I like to, you know, I like to go and make the play, that's for sure.
01:08But, you know, I still like dropping a pass coverage and reading the quarterback,
01:11you know, getting some PBUs and some picks.
01:12That's fun also.
01:13.
01:13.
01:16.
01:18.
01:20.
01:20.
