00:00One of the big positives was the return of Mikey Johnston.
00:03I think he fully deserved it after his two assists against Wrexham the week before.
00:08Came back in, grabbed his chance with both hands with a fantastic goal.
00:12Was taken off, I think, in the kind of second half.
00:15George, Johnston's someone who kind of excites me and frustrates me in equal kind of measure.
00:23Lit the Championship up when he came on loan last season.
00:27And kind of numbers at times were pretty good, but didn't really feel that he hit the heights last season.
00:31You know, he's got his chance now. How important is it that he kicks on?
00:35And for me, I do genuinely believe the ability that he's got, he could be one of the best wide players,
00:44best attacking players in the Championship. I think he's got that in his kind of arsenal.
00:48We know that he can create, we've seen the goals, he can score.
00:52You know, you don't have to look back to that loan spell and only look back to Saturday
00:55to see what he can pull out of the bag. Is that the kind of challenge for Johnston now,
00:59is to show the consistency and the form that he did in that loan spell?
01:03And if he does, for me, he can be one of the best attacking players in the division.
01:07Yes, certainly. He's definitely a man with a point to prove, obviously.
01:10He's using it to fire himself up from how it looks at the moment.
01:13I mean, two assists against Wrexham, if I'm right, coming off the bench.
01:16And then another solid performance against Portsmouth, banging in a fantastic worldy goal.
01:20What's the word? Old school Mikey Johnson, I think is the best way to describe that.
01:24Stuff we're used to seeing that game when he played QPR and fizzed one in the top corner.
01:29Yeah, he's been superb. I love his footwork. He's quick on his feet.
01:32He seems like he's definitely confident in this moment in time.
01:37And if he can keep that confidence running high, then, I mean, I don't want to sound,
01:43you know, like a boys baggies fan, but the sky's the limit, really, for that lad.
01:49Because, I mean, even at his Celtic days, they knew that he'd got bags and bags of potential.
01:54He just didn't quite, I guess, make his mark there.
01:57But certainly in these, well, the last two games, he's making his mark with us.
02:00And if he could carry on playing like that, then, yeah, he's going to get loads of assists this season.
02:06It's been superb.
