00:00Neil, Albert have come here, toe to toe against a side who haven't lost at home this season.
00:13Really good draw, really good performance, what did you make of it?
00:15I thought we played well, considering we didn't have Darlan Furnall at right back, we didn't
00:22have Bartley at centre half. It was quite a mismatched team, we had Deke here in the
00:28heart of defence, it was really a midfielder. Burnley are a good side, but they don't need
00:35a referee like that, it was shocking. Every decision was going to Burnley, it was amazing
00:40setting the game up at the end to be honest. It was awful refereeing.
00:44Brilliant point for us tonight, that was. I think when we got here, three hour journey,
00:50we looked at the side and thought what the blimey did we turn up for, because the first
00:55eleven wasn't great but they did well today.
00:57I said, like me, Swift's in the side, and he steps up and takes that free kick and you
01:03go, I'm so glad Swift's in the side.
01:07And Grant ran his nightingales off tonight.
01:09It was a strange team, Bartley up there was a big miss for us, Higgins was great.
01:17They were proud of themselves, as long as they win Saturday I think.
01:21Yeah, but they fought tonight didn't they, that was a good performance.
01:25On the display, we'll talk about Burnley's goal in a second, but fantastic free kick
01:31from John Swift, I thought he was fantastic all evening, great and everything. What have
01:35you made of him, because I'm sure a few weeks ago Albion fans, he's out of contract in the
01:39summer, indifferent, but some display from him tonight.
01:43That's the frustrating thing with Swift, he can put in a performance like that every now
01:48and again, and that's the thing. He's got the ability, but you just don't see it enough.
01:53Personally, I would get rid of him at the end of the season. He's not consistent enough,
01:59and we need somebody who's consistent, especially for the money he's on.
02:03We made three goals in a row, why doesn't he do it more often, that's the annoying thing.
02:08We just know he's got the talent.
02:10A few people booed him the other day, but the reason they booed him was because they
02:14know he's better than what he's showing, that's the problem.
02:17There was probably only three that did anyway, which isn't right.
02:21We're pleased with that performance, and Burnley's a good side, aren't they?
02:26You've seen how many goals they've conceded at home?
02:29Minus five at home all season. That's not bad, is it?
02:34Burnley didn't have hardly any clear-cut chances all night. The goal, Joe Wildsmith,
02:40with a mistake, he's dropped it. He'll know how big of an error he's made, but that's
02:43two or three errors now. Is there a question mark for a change there?
02:48I think there probably is. A couple of weeks ago, against Leeds, I thought, well,
02:56everybody can make a mistake. But tonight, he should have held it.
03:01But then, if De Keating had been more switched on, if he'd have been further forward,
03:07then he was playing the guy onside. But yeah, Keeping should have had that easily.
03:12Yeah, maybe. I just feel a bit sorry for him, really. We're willing him on.
03:18Because I think he didn't need that. He just didn't need that.
03:21No, he didn't need that.
03:22If he'd have punched it, maybe, it would have been the right thing to do. He should have caught it.
03:26He went to Millwall and he won us two points there.
03:29I can't forget how that felt.
03:31But he got us a point there at Millwall. The annoying thing is, he's bossed us tonight.
03:36But I think we've just got to stick with him, haven't we?
03:39Yeah, I think so.
03:40Since Mowbray's come in, the form has been a little bit indifferent.
03:43But a massive performance at Leeds at a point. A massive performance here at a point,
03:47against two sides who are vying for automatic promotion.
03:50How much confidence does that give you, as a supporter and fan,
03:53heading into the final nine or so games, that Albin can get over that play-off line?
03:58I think we can. Certainly, under Mowbray, we're certainly playing a lot more front-foot football
04:05than we were towards the end, just before Cobram left.
04:10But Mowbray's side have never been great defensively.
04:14The last time he was here, 16 years ago, we could store a shed load, but we couldn't defend.
04:21And there's still an element of that, although we do look better defensively.
04:28But I think we'll get over the line.
04:30But I'm not sure I want to get promoted. Not at the minute.
04:34We're in a transition. We've got a big rebuild. Do we really? I mean, the money would be great.
04:40But looking at sides like Southampton, who were fantastic last season,
04:46much stronger squad than we'd take up, and they're getting topped every single week.
04:52I think that'd be us. And, I don't know, it's a hard watch.
04:56We've just come in tonight, we've actually attacked them. We've had a go.
04:59We've had a go. Scratch me, scratch me.
05:02We've had a go, and we felt like we could win the game.
05:05Under Cobram, we came here when we were bundled up under Cobram,
05:12and we were just absolutely mullered for 80 minutes.
05:15We didn't have a hope to get back.
05:17They would have come for a draw, wouldn't they?
05:19But we've come here tonight, and we actually felt like we could win.
05:22And we were going to win. And we had a weakened team out there.
05:24And Johnson had a chance to lose.
05:27And we didn't even bring DK onto the world.
05:29We're happy. We've got a good chance in the moment.
05:33Yeah, yeah, I think so.
05:35Brilliant.
05:56.
06:26.
06:27.
06:29.
06:30.
06:55Burnley didn't have hardly any clear-cut chances all night.
06:58Hardly any clear-cut chances all night, but the goal, you know, Joe Wildsmith with a mistake, he's dropped it.
07:03He'll know how big of an error he's made, but that's two or three errors now.
07:07Is there a question mark for a change there, or...?
07:11I think there probably is. A couple of weeks ago, against Leeds, I thought, well, everybody can make a mistake.
07:20But, yeah, tonight, he should have held it, I don't know.
07:24But then, if De Keating had been more switched on, if he'd have been further forward, then he was playing the guy onside.
07:32But, yeah, Keating should have had that easily.
