✨ Mentaiko Mochi Cheese Monjayaki ✨
🧀 Ingredients 🧀
Cabbage … 200–250g
Mentaiko (pollock roe) … 1 sac
Rice cake (mochi) … 1 piece Canned corn … 1/2 can
Tempura crisps (agedama) … 2 tbsp
Cheese … to taste
Sesame oil … to taste
Green onions … to garnish
☆ Mix together:
Water … 300ml
Cake flour … 3 tbsp
Worcestershire sauce … 1 tbsp
Dashi powder … 1 tsp
🧀 How to Make 🧀 1️⃣ Mix the ☆ ingredients well until smooth with no lumps. 2️⃣ Add chopped cabbage, peeled mentaiko, cut-up mochi, corn, cheese, and tempura crisps to the mixture. 3️⃣ Heat sesame oil in a pan and sauté only the solid ingredients (leave the liquid aside). 4️⃣ Shape the ingredients into a ring, creating a little “wall” in the middle. 5️⃣ Pour the liquid mixture into the center and let it bubble. Once boiling, break down the wall and stir everything together. 6️⃣ Flatten, sprinkle with green onions, and enjoy ✨
