00:25This comes after the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to investigate these projects following severe flooding in several parts of the country caused by the Southwest Monsoon or Habagat.
00:37The investigation includes identifying possible negligence or failure on the part of officials and contractors to fulfill their responsibilities.
00:45DPWH Secretary Manuel Bonon has already identified the priority areas for investigation to ensure flood control projects in those locations meet the required standards.

01:55According to the Secretary, if the allegation against Calalo is proven true, he will face the appropriate penalties under the law.
