00:00I don't think I'm ever going to talk about Iowa State or Kansas State

00:02for the rest of the season itself here, Joe.

00:05But it was nice just to see ranked versus ranked football

00:08on an ice skating rink over in Dublin, and we got a 24-21 final.

00:12It was an entertaining game once it got started.

00:15The first half was dismal at this point,

00:17and I even saw the complaints on Twitter and social media.

00:20Did they even paint the field?

00:21Like you couldn't see what the 10-yard line was.

00:23And by the way, that last touchdown, which I didn't see live,

00:26watching on replay, I actually thought the 10-yard line

00:29said 30-yard line.

00:30So I'm like, what's the big deal on this?

00:32Why were they reviewing it?

00:33That was a touchdown, by the way, that had a lot of onlookers going,

00:37is that an over or is that an under?

00:39But the one thing we do know is Iowa State was a victor 24-21 on Saturday.

00:43Yeah, I mean, that game, I think, closed around 50,

00:47and they had left a lot of points out on that field there,

00:51namely the fumbling all over the place early in the game was crazy,

00:56including Iowa State fumbling on a handoff on the two-yard line of Kansas State

01:02in the first quarter.

01:03That wasn't good.

01:04And then, of course, the overturning touchdown there late in the end

01:08on a fourth and three.

01:09And I've got to give Matt Campbell and Iowa State credit.

01:13You know, the fact that it was fourth and three, the kicker, by the way,

01:17they have is amazing.

01:19This kid would have easily nailed that field goal to go up and make them score

01:24a touchdown, but instead they went for the win, and they got it.

01:27And I thought for sure they might have actually handed it off to punch it in

01:32just to make sure, but the whole kneel-down thing on the half-yard line.

01:36And listen, Iowa State, it's a big win as an outright underdog.

01:40The first game of the year, they pull it off against Kansas State.

01:44It's a long season, but you've got to be excited if you're both of these programs

01:49because both quarterbacks showed up big time in those games.

01:53I think that's going to be the interesting part moving forward

01:55with these two teams.
