£20k Wolves-inspired garden bar Cognitos

Watch as West Midlands dad Glen Gandy discusses the Wolves-inspired bar he built in his back garden, which is named Cognitos after a late friend.

00:00Hello my name's Glen Gandy from Wolverhampton and welcome to Cognito's Bar.

00:05The name Cognito's Bar is named after Ian Cognito the comedian who sadly passed away

00:13on stage doing what he loved best and what better tribute to have than to name it after my friend.

00:17The build roughly took round about two years start to finish and on and off in between jobs

00:22and it comes with everything all your mod cons it's got your toilet your showroom your jacuzzi

00:27aircon that heats and cold so we can have it all year round our K machine and of course there's

00:32always a fully stocked bar. We regularly hold parties for our friends and family last one we

00:37had 118 people came up and that's my daughter's 18th so that was a good night and of course everyone

00:43went home full and very drunk. When we done the build we decided we needed an outdoor area as

00:48well so we've got our own beer garden our own barbecue area and of course a pool for the kids

00:52to play and then if you feel it later on we've always got the jacuzzi. The reaction we get

00:57and people turn up is a bit of a wear factor to be honest and it does make me feel really

01:00good. I've even got Albion fans and Villa fans who comment on it as well and they come round

01:07and apart from the shirts they love it too.
