00:00Welcome. If you would, your thoughts as you get ready for this year's U.S. Open.
00:09Yeah, I feel good overall. I think I've been practicing pretty well.
00:13I've had a good few weeks in America playing and Canada as well and got some matches in and then, yeah, a tough match with Arena and Cincy,
00:22but it was another one to build on and was closer than when I played her at Wimbledon.
00:27Okay, thank you. Questions?
00:30And a two-part question. First of all, talk about the Carlos Alcaraz mixed doubles, how it went, how you felt.
00:36And secondly, do you think Wimbledon should look at doing something like that or should they stick with tradition?
00:41Yeah, I think it would be so fun if all the slams kind of got involved and did something similar,
00:46even if it's not the exact same format, because I think it was a huge success.
00:49I think so many fans got involved, so many people were watching and tuned in and it got a lot of attention.
00:55So, I think it was a great idea and, yeah, I had a lot of fun on the court playing with Carlos.
01:00New coach since we saw you at Wimbledon, Francis, can you talk a bit about what it was about him that led you to that choice
01:12and in your early few weeks working with him, what are some of the things that you feel like he's developing during your game?
01:20Yeah, I think we're working a lot on the court, putting a lot of hours in.
01:24He loves spending time on court as well.
01:26But we find a good balance, you know, it's not all just serious and also time passes so fast,
01:33which is a good sign whenever you're spending time with someone.
01:36And overall, I think just working on the quality of my shots and improving them.
01:42So, I think so far it's been going pretty well, but I need more time for sure.
01:46We'll see you next time.
