El presidente de Estados Unidos, Donald Trump, aseguró este viernes que en un plazo de dos semanas se sabrá si el líder ruso, Vladímir Putin, se reunirá con el presidente ucraniano, Volodímir Zelenski, para intentar alcanzar una solución pacífica a la guerra de Ucrania.

“En las próximas dos semanas descubriremos qué camino tomará (Putin)”, dijo Trump al ser consultado sobre el curso de las negociaciones, en las que participa activamente.

Tras haberse reunido por separado con ambos mandatarios, el presidente estadounidense planteó la posibilidad de una cumbre bilateral Putin-Zelenski que sirva para sentar las bases de un acuerdo duradero.
