09:09To give you guys some more insight into Kalia, we have a special guest, vice president and
09:18head designer for Kalia, Alicia Scott.

09:28We created Kalia about 10 years ago and really wanted to form a brand that is the perfect
09:34juxtaposition of fashion and femininity and function.
09:38And I love how you guys have all styled all your pieces you got today.
09:42Our entire collection is rooted in performance.
09:45If you're designing a look for Pilates or run, it needs to be able to function.
09:49We believe there's beauty in the burn.

15:06I'm trying to always see things that I like about vintage fashion, but then giving it my own little twist.

15:20I just felt inherently so different from the rest of my family.
15:23The only thing I could really do was, you know, rely on my own creativity and imagination to kind of distract me from, you know, feeling like it belonged there.

15:35Like, you know, when I finally did come out, they were like, we don't get it yet, but we just don't want to lose you.
