00:00:14against the boston celtics well for boston they're looking to come out strong and make their mark
00:00:20early they have to look at this game as a great opportunity to do just that
00:00:24well boston had been in a bit of a rebuild since the end of the days of the big three last season
00:00:31they got back into the postseason shaq where do you see this team going in the next few years well
00:00:36they have great guards to build around and they can continue to be big players in the free agency
00:00:40for the next few seasons they got to make all the right moves their president i play for him he's a
00:00:45smart guy he knows what he's doing you know what i could see them trying to strive for the modern
00:00:49version of a lot of nba teams that means getting three-point shooters if they get more three-point
00:00:54shooters building around that some crisp passing that can be a championship mix thank you for

00:10:54And Montee Ellis is still trying to prove people wrong now in Dallas after their quick exit from the playoffs a season ago.
00:11:02Clark, it's been a decade in the league now for this very talented guy.
00:11:06And, you know, that kind of relentless determination is really something Montee is known for.
00:11:11And one of the reasons he has been around for 10 years in the NBA as a consistently good player and lethal sport.

00:11:25And the Celtics, guys, what jumps out to you, stance-wise?
00:11:27Right from the start, they have been able to really own that paint and just dominate the backboard.
00:11:34Well, Greg, you can't dominate the boards unless all five guys are making the effort to box out and chase down the ball.
00:11:40On the court right now for the Celtics, the big men are Salinger and Olenek.
00:11:45Thomas is out there with Jay Crump.
00:11:47And it's Jarekko in at the three, a small four.
00:11:51And for Salinger last season, further indication, Clark, that he needs to keep working on his conditioning.
00:11:56And that was a concern coming into the league with Jared is just how committed would he be to working on his body all the time
00:12:02and maintaining the level of conditioning that he needs.
00:12:06And injuries have been a part of that not being the case.
00:12:09But when he's out there, he's capable.

00:12:52You know, on the topic of Salinger, guys, he said publicly that people are doubting him.
00:12:57And he's right.
00:12:58I mean, until he gets in better shape and stays that way, there will always be questions surrounding that part of his game.
00:13:03Hopefully for him going forward, he can be more Duncan than Diaz in the way he treats his body.

00:17:31You know, I can think of one way to describe George Hill.
00:17:34It's the culmination of several activities.
00:17:38I mean, he comes from the school of Popovich, plays under control, always in the right place defensively.
00:17:44The way I describe him is just steady.
00:17:47I mean, he comes from the center, always in the right place defensively.
00:17:52He wants to be very somewhat well, too, to get to a start.

00:18:44he was traded from the Spurs to the Pacers a few years back.
00:18:47Many people were surprised the Spurs would even trade a valuable veteran
00:18:51when they were trying to win a championship.
00:18:53But who did they trade him for?
00:18:55Kawhi Leonard.
00:18:56Pretty good deal.
00:18:57Well, you know, Hill is really solid.
00:18:59He knocks down open shots, can run the offense or play off the ball equally well.
00:19:03I think he's a terrific combo guard.
00:19:06Gives you a little bit of everything and does it in a professional way.
00:19:09And that's typically what attracts him to other teams.
00:19:14The Pacers shooting their third and fourth free-throw shot to the Knights.

00:19:53He's made the most of those opportunities.
00:19:55And you can't undervalue the importance of that.

00:29:38They would go into lengthy dry spells that made it hard for them to keep pace in the eastern part
00:29:43because they missed Paul George's all-around brilliance and his offense.

00:30:59they had a number of long losing streaks last season.
00:31:02As a team, they had four different losing streaks of six for more games,

00:31:12It was just too little, too late compared to their losing streaks earlier in the year.
00:31:18And Evan Turner's one of those guys, he just gives you a little bit of everything.
00:31:22I mean, he can play multiple positions, handles the ball, he can pass it, shoot it.
00:31:27Kind of a Swiss Army jackknife who uses multiple tools to his advantage.
