00:00He was watching the show because he was with another girl at the time.
00:03You would tell me that you always watched it, but I guess that was your girlfriend, but you were married.
00:11Darcy and Georgie, thank you so much for joining today.
00:15You know, we're watching you now on 90 Day Happily Ever After with a question mark at the end.
00:21How are we doing today? We've seen you through some ups and downs.
00:24How are we today?
00:26It's still a question mark.
00:27Oh, wow. Great, great answer, Georgie.
00:30Honestly, we're just really grateful to be here.
00:32Thank you for having us, first and foremost.
00:34Yeah, we go through our ups and downs, absolutely, for sure.
00:37I feel like we're, you know, in a much better place than obviously we've had in the past
00:42when we were dating and engaged and dating and engaged.
00:45We obviously got married off the show, and it's, you know, been a blessing.
00:50But I feel like we need to really focus a little bit more on our communication style.
00:54For my beautiful wife, for your...
01:01We are obviously different ages, and I think sometimes we butt heads a little bit
01:05and need to learn how to change some of our patterns for ourselves separately and together as a couple.
01:12There needs to be a little bit more transparency.
01:14I feel, you know, on his part, and I'm sure he has things he needs me to do as well.
01:18I mean, the floor is all yours.
01:20It can be the language barrier.
01:23I don't know if you understand me sometimes, but it looks like you don't.
01:27I understand you.
01:29It's not always easy.
01:30You know, I understand we both have different dynamics, and, you know, I could be a little, you know, feisty at times and dramatic.
01:37You don't say.
01:38You know, yeah, right?
01:39And the future's bright.
01:41You know, we've got to put the work in, first and foremost.
01:43As you mentioned, you got married off the show, which is kind of a surprising move.
01:47What made you choose to do that out of the public eye?
01:50You know, it was a special day coming up, 11-11, and that obviously has a special meaning for me and for Georgie as well.
01:57My brother, I passed away on the 11th of 98.
02:00It was kind of sort of the moment.
02:02You know, we had a couple weeks to plan, but, you know, it felt right in the moment, and the family was happy.
02:07Yeah, and even the cameras wasn't there.
02:09There was, like, so many moments that was challenging.
02:15For example, we went to go to the court in the morning, and it was so cold.
02:19We're going to the car.
02:20The car didn't start.
02:21Oh, no.
02:22It was, like, signs.
02:23Do we get married?
02:23Do not?
02:24Oh, yeah.
02:24I think I even, like, took footage of it, because I'm like, this is, like, we can't make this up.
02:29This is, like, crazy.
02:30Like, what is the universe trying to, like, stop us from getting married?
02:34It was all these obstacles getting in the way of us getting married on the 11th of November, 11-11.
02:40In the 11th, we make it.
02:40In the 11th hour, we did make it, so.
02:42Big topic of conversation on this season as well is your wardrobe as you guys prepare to go to Bulgaria.
02:49Georgie, you told her that she would, quote, look like a hoe in her current outfits.
02:54Do you regret saying that?
02:57Do you regret those words?
02:58Well, I don't directly say the words to her.
03:02She looked like a hoe.
03:04I say, I don't want her to look like a hoe.
03:07Don't be uncovered.
03:08I don't want you to walk like this in the streets of Bulgaria, because you're going to think you prostrate your hoe.
03:12Because I know when I was in Bulgaria, obviously, I haven't been there in 13 years.
03:19And when I left, it was 2011.
03:22Long time ago.
03:24But a little bit after the communism, even during the communism, the girls, they're not allowed to wear even short, like, no longer.
03:33No shorter than the niece.
03:35So, in my mind, it still sticks.
03:38You know, if somebody dressed like this, it's kind of, they don't look at them with good eyes.
03:45Now, of course, 13 years later, the things change so much.
03:48Yeah, for me, you know, I've been to Europe a lot, and Mike says that it's Hungarian.
03:53My daughters are half Hungarian, so I've been to Hungary.
03:55I've been around their family members.
03:58So, I understand.
03:59So, I feel like I dress pretty classy and conservative when I go to Europe.
04:02And I think I put that, you know, in my heart to do the same in Bulgaria.
04:08I think that scene that we saw, I was wearing a compression cat suit.
04:14Your boobs is out.
04:16I'm going to have a jacket on the airplane.
04:19Kind of like today, but, you know, it was a flight.
04:22And I like compression when I fly.
04:24But also, I felt comfortable in it, and I wasn't really done getting dressed.
04:28But also, she wore clothes, like, because she's tiny, and she wore clothes, like, small and extra small.
04:36And her breast is not for clothes, extra small or small.
04:41And when she was packing, sometimes they come out, and that's what is upsetting me.
04:46That's why, in this moment, I kind of fired up, and I was like, I don't want you to look like this.
04:51Because, let's say, in the airplane or somewhere, you just go to pick up something, and they're out.
04:56And that's why I get so upset, actually.
04:58The cat suit busted open on the airplane.
05:01I think I got footage of it on my phone.
05:04That's what I mean.
05:04It ripped underneath the boob, the boobage.
05:08No.
05:09Then I had to get it fixed in Bulgaria.
05:10They had to, like, re-sew it.
05:11You see, always.
05:12And I, like, bust it out of it.
05:13Because you swell.
05:14I swell on planes.
05:15I get cankles.
05:17My boobs get, like, sizes bigger.
05:19So, I busted out of that thing.
05:20But I did have a scarf on, so I was covering it.
05:23Nobody saw it but me, and I told them about it.
05:25So, yeah.
05:26I mean, he felt the boobs.
05:28That's why I always need to listen to your husband.
05:30Well.
05:31Advice is.
05:32That's just sometimes.
05:33Maybe we have to design something so it's, like, you know, covers all the boobs, Cassie,
05:39compression for the flights.
05:40I don't know.
05:40Maybe so.
05:41I'm curious if you feel like being a part of the 90-day experience has helped or hurt your relationship.
05:48I think at times, both.
05:50I feel like, for me, I've always been an open book.
05:53And for me, it's like therapy.
05:55So, it's also helped me see things that I probably wouldn't have seen before.
05:58So, it's a blessing for me.
06:01So, it saved me, in a sense.
06:04It saved me from bad, toxic relationships where I feel like I should have.
06:08Maybe I would have moved on sooner or later.
06:10I don't know.
06:11But it's helped me with that.
06:14And I'm grateful.
06:16Are there any in particular that you feel like you got to move on a little faster?
06:20I'd say the first two, especially the first relationship with B90.
06:25That was a few years of my life.
06:27Is that Jesse?
06:28Yeah.
06:29I think it was tough.
06:30Obviously, we're different ages and different phases and places in life.
06:35He didn't match your energy.
06:37No, no.
06:37We weren't a good match.
06:38No.
06:39We weren't a good match.
06:40And I kind of felt like it in my gut at times.
06:42But I just was like, really tried to be the best I could for the relationship.
06:47As I always kind of am.
06:49So, I don't know.
06:49It's just a blessing in disguise that it's done.
06:53Georgie, have you watched any of that?
06:55Any of her earlier seasons of 90 Day?
06:58I did with Jesse.
06:59I mean, it was like everybody was watching with Jesse.
07:01That's how, you know, become viral on the steak scene and all this.
07:05And it was kind of an interesting, sensitive guy.
07:08If you cut it like on the bias, it stays juicy.
07:11I'm just helping you.
07:12We're doing this together, right?
07:13So, if you cut it on a bias that is slant, it saves the juice.
07:16I've worked in restaurants, so, okay.
07:18I'm done.
07:19Well, I know how my kids like their steak.
07:21They like it juicy.
07:22When you cut it on the bias, it stays juicy.
07:24Actually, when I watched it, I was questioning myself, who is more sensitive, Darcy or Jesse?
07:29Because he gets very easy trigger about anything.
07:32And for Darcy, I get it.
07:35I remember that day.
07:36It was a long day.
07:37And they just wanted to eat, and I wanted to get them fed.
07:40And I just felt like he's like, you know, farting around.
07:45We cut the steak, cut it on the bias, juicy, juicy.
07:47They like their steak juicy.
07:49That's kind of how it happened.
07:50They never thought in a million years that.
07:51Actually, I never know that you need to cut the steak in the bias.
07:54And I didn't know what it was that.
07:56I worked at a restaurant, so the chef taught me how to cut the steak.
07:58So, I was like, why is that?
07:59So, I have to do some Google research.
08:00Okay, I mean, it makes sense.
08:02So, did you watch that before you knew Darcy, or?
08:05Yeah, I watched that before.
08:06Is that how you guys, did you meet her kind of through the show?
08:09Or is that Instagram?
08:10Instagram.
08:11He DMs me, but he was watching the show because he was with another girl all the time.
08:15You would tell me that you always watched it, but I guess that was your girlfriend, but you were married.
08:19She would watch it, you know, but.
08:20I'm still confused.
08:21He was married, but I still had a girlfriend.
08:24I'm like, I don't know.
08:25But that's how the thing is, all the men that gets hooked up to the show watching it because their girlfriend, at the time, they're watching it.
08:31They don't have choice, you know.
08:32Girls usually get the boyfriend.
08:33Of course, we want to watch the game, but like, the girl, she takes the remote, and she needs to watch what she want to watch, and we don't have a choice.
08:40So, I guess it was the girlfriend before your wife, first wife.
08:43I don't know.
08:44I'm confused.
08:44But then you, so you slid in the DM with the girlfriend and the wife.
08:48Yeah, and he would message you.
08:50That was like later many years.
08:52It just come out.
08:53I was for Tom, like around that time, but he was like, I thought, just like a fan, you know, or something like that.
08:58He was always kind of friendly, slightly flirty, but I was just always kind of friendly, and he's like, oh, like, I live in D.C., and if you're ever in New York, like, let's hang out.
09:07But we never did it, like a whole year went by.
09:10I remember one time, because I was single at the time, he wanted to take me out for New Year's, but we never did it.
09:16Yeah, Christmas, New Year's.
09:17Yeah.
09:18I wanted to take you out for all the time.
09:19I don't think the other guy at the time.
09:20I saw his Instagram.
09:21I thought he was a player, so I was kind of like, was trying to be careful this time around after Tom and Jesse, so I was like, I don't know.
09:28And then we did meet at the Super Bowl, because he saw that I was going to the Super Bowl, and he's like, oh, I'm going to be there at the same time.
09:34Do you want to hang out?
09:35So that's when we met.
09:36Yeah, actually, we talked, before we met in person, we talked probably for a year.
09:41And actually, the funny part was, but I was in Miami at the same time, before we met, I was in Miami with my parents, actually.
09:48And she was there at the same time, Miami.
09:51Time to talk with Stacey.
09:53Yeah, actually.
09:53She's going to see me, I was like, I'm a little preoccupied right now.
09:56We ain't got a bed in a hotel room, all bandaged up.
10:00Yeah, it was okay.
10:01And she wanted to meet the day before she got the surgery, but I was actually arrived for the day when she got the surgery, and that's why we couldn't meet again.
10:12So, yeah, it wasn't the right time, I guess.
10:14So, no, it was like, no, it was a dad, and I was like, oh, she said, oh, she said oh, she said oh, she said oh, she said oh.
10:26So yeah, it was a mess.
10:27So, I'm going to see youbye.
