00:00Европейские лидеры, которые присоединили Володимир Зеленский на его visit to the White House.
Ursula von der Leyen,
00:56she also took an effort to coordinate this visit.
01:01What are your expectations for the next step?
01:03There are a few scenarios being discussed.
01:05Could be the bilateral meeting at first between Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelensky,
01:11and then the trilateral meeting with the presence of Donald Trump.
01:16My question here is that, do you think at some stage,
01:18the European Union and Europe will also be presented at one of those meetings?
01:22You see that this process is getting quite dynamic,
01:27and I hope it will not take too long till the next meeting is organized.
01:34We should not omit any other scenarios, including participation of the European side.
01:42But what is important that EU and Europe, in general,
01:48because we are talking also about Great Britain, is present.
01:53And the position of the European Union definitely is taken into account
01:58by Ukraine, for sure, and also by the United States.
02:02So this is the most important thing.
02:05EU accession is an important aspect of Ukraine's safety in the future.
02:09And that was also mentioned both by Volodymyr Zelensky
02:12and by the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen,
02:15who said, and I quote her here,
02:17we continue to support Ukraine's path to its membership in the European Union.
02:21This is itself also a security guarantee for Ukraine.
02:26When we are talking about today's situation,
02:31what the European Union is doing to defend itself,
02:35already now, for Ukraine being a candidate state, not the member,
02:41the new program, which is called SAFE, is open for Ukraine.
02:45Which means that helping Ukraine to defend itself,
02:50helping Ukraine to use its potential,
02:55its military-industrial complex,
03:00its modern Mil-Tag,
03:03will help definitely Ukraine,
03:05but also in the future,
03:06will help Europe to defend itself.
03:09We stress on this necessity
03:12to move ahead with accession process.
03:16We do whatever is possible
03:21to unlock this stalemate,
03:26also to solve all bilateral issues
03:28with any member states which could arise,
03:32because it's, okay,
03:34let's say it's normal
03:36that member states,
03:37they try to solve bilateral issues,
03:40use the elusion process as a leverage,
03:43and we're prepared to talk,
03:46we're prepared to work,
03:47and we are doing that,
03:49but we don't want to lose time.
03:54And if we have any outstanding issues
03:56related to, I don't know,
03:59national minorities or trade
04:00or sectoral cooperation,
04:03we are going to tackle those issues
04:05within the relevant clusters.
04:07Do you think Ukraine can tackle
04:09some of these issues bilaterally?
04:11Because we also heard that Donald Trump
04:13might be weighing in on pushing somehow
04:16and steering Hungary
04:18towards unblocking some of the vetoes.
04:21If United States
04:24or other countries outside the European Union
04:29are ready to help
04:31to use their political cloud,
04:36to use their also personal contacts,
04:38we welcome this support.
04:41And again,
04:42it is important
04:43to consider this issue
04:46as an element of the peace process.
04:49And that's why
04:49if Donald Trump,
04:51which is leading this peace process,
04:54is involved in fixing this issue,
04:57so it's logical.
04:57do you think
05:07would you like it?
05:08What a piece about
05:10the drive
05:11is going
05:13to 60 per inning
05:14and it's going
05:15to impact
05:16every other
05:17that let public
05:18strike
05:18what
05:20you
05:20know?
05:21Take care.
05:22And
05:23the
