00:00My highlight from the film, I think, was drinking gin and tonics on the bus with my friend Celia Emery in that scene.
00:23How was it playing Bobby then? Was it nice being a little bit naughty?
00:27Yeah, because I have no redeeming features whatsoever and I'm covered in rose thorn tattoos.
00:36Could it tempt you to want to get a real tattoo?
00:39No, because I had my ear pierced for a film about 30 years ago and they said that it wouldn't hurt.
00:46I found it really painful, so I know the pain threshold for childbirth or tattoos.
00:54Have you got tattoos?
00:56No, but I wouldn't be able to choose. That would be the problem.
01:00And I'd get to go back the next day. The earring didn't stick then, no?
01:04No, just bled.
01:06So let's talk about your amazing co-stars. Who was the cheekiest on set? Who do you think was the naughtiest?
01:12Uh, Helen Mirren. Dame Helen Mirren.
01:18I love this man. How are you? And we share the same agent, so she's got great class.
01:28Everyone was really well behaved. And it wasn't me. I'm like, what do you call it? I'm like an apple. You know that apple? The annoying student in a class. I'm like that one. Always following me.
01:39I love it. And the names involved in this. When you first backed out, how did you stay calm and cool and collected?
01:45My eyes went wide and then I tried to play it off as cool and then I was like, okay, okay, okay, this is very, very cool.
01:51And then I told everyone and they were like, that's really, really cool. And then I was like, okay, get all your freaking out done before you get on set.
01:57Because you don't want to scare anyone. But like, I think it's more like, in a way, I always feel like that whenever I'm doing a job because I've somehow been able to work with a lot of very cool people.
02:08So I get in, I like wipe the slate and I'm like, okay.
02:14Was there anyone in particular that you were just fangirling over a little bit?
02:17Helen. Helen.
02:19Did you get any merch signed?
02:20She gave me a pen. She gave me a cool pen as a gift. And yeah, and she's just so lovely and cool. And I feel completely just besotted with her.
02:33I really hope that pen isn't yours on the hand.
02:35Yeah, yeah, yeah.
02:37I'm very famous people in this film, yes.
02:39How much did you love to call people?
02:41You know, I love getting to call those people my colleagues, that are kind of part-timers. Who are these upstarts?
02:48Are you, sorry, what have you done? Have you, is this your first job? You know, I got good value out of that kind of material.
02:55Well, the buzz for me personally was tremendous because there was a bunch of actors, I think all but three of the members of the cast I'd worked with before.
03:04So they're old friends and we've known each other for years. And that's so rare on a movie. Usually I'm the oldest person on any set.
03:12And sadly, I'm still the oldest person on this set, by the way. But to be surrounded by all these old friends, it was like a warm bath.
03:22If you're going to have anyone in your Thursday murder club, anyone at all, who would it be?
03:26Uh, I don't know, my agent is the best agent in the world, so I'd say her, yeah.
03:32Does that ever get normal?
03:34No, you always get off at that. I'm a bit starstruck.
03:37That's an impossible question. That's it. It would have to be another woman, though. And I'm really hoping that Naomi comes back because she's such an important part of the team, yeah.
03:47Oh, I'd bring all the Spice Girls with me. The Spice Girls are in the old age home.
03:52But don't kill any of them, please.
03:54They'll kill me all.
03:57Richard said the Spice Girls.
03:59It was very strange.
04:01Yeah.
04:02I mean, fair.
04:03Right.
04:04Who would I bring in?
04:05Beyonce.
04:06The Spice Girls are coming in.
04:08Bring in Beyonce.
04:09I don't know what she would do.
04:11But she'd be there.
04:13And we could just chat.
04:14I don't want to hear the songs in Beyonce.
04:16No, you don't.
