00:00After you're going on a run, I'll take a cold brew with some oat milk and just a little bit of agave.
00:10Thank you so much.
00:12It was always complicated and stressful.
00:16And I remember, I think with this episode, we thought maybe we could break it up into smaller chunks, and then we just couldn't.
00:24We've rehearsed it all afternoon, and we've shot it three times with stand-ins, and I'm almost sick of it already.
00:30It's just a treat, really, you know?
00:35I feel like this scene evoked sort of PTSD for me of when you have to be hosting people when they come to your set.
00:43And having visitors, it's so stressful because you feel like you have to somehow be in hosting mode at the same time as doing your job.
00:50And there's not many jobs you have in this world where you're supposed to be doing your job and somehow glad-handling and hosting somebody at the same time.
00:56It gives him this kind of permission and this opening to just wreak havoc with his terrible creative input.
01:04Greta, yo, I actually went to talk to you about awards season.
01:06Just make sure you keep your winter clear.
01:08Okay, Matt.
01:10Have you ever seen this happen on a set?
01:11Someone walk into a take and ruin the take?
01:14Yeah, I think I may have done it.
01:15I think I've done it, too.
01:16I think my favorite part in one of the whole show is when you start screaming f*** around the corner and then magically appear still screaming f***.
01:26F***.
01:27I was having a really good time.
01:29Don't let me get in the way.
01:33You're not in the way at all.
01:35Really?
01:36No, of course not.
01:38In fact, if you have any feedback as we go, feel free to let me know.
01:40I want to keep the big dog happy.
01:42It was extremely therapeutic because what I've never done is really freaked out or screamed or been angry.
01:49And I felt in a weird way like it would be a great way of if I could go really, really far in terms of how much anger I showed,
01:58maybe I'd collect myself some real boundaries in real life.
02:02I'm directing.
02:03Reset.
02:03Back to one.
02:04Losing lights.
02:05Sorry.
02:05Oh.
02:07Oh.
02:07Oh.
02:08I've fallen on set a few times and it's very embarrassing.
02:12There's a lot of stuff to fall on.
02:14Yes.
02:14In your defense.
02:16At what point did you decide that Matt was going to fall this often?
02:19Like gross as you want?
02:20We had him falling so much we had to reduce how many falls happened.
02:22We had to reduce the falls.
02:24It's pretty funny every time.
02:25It keeps working.
02:26We are proponents of people falling down.
02:29Matt, are you okay?
02:30Oh no, that was really bad.
02:32If we could justify a fall.
02:35I love you listen to like roll sound.
02:37Keep going.
02:37You're helping.
02:38Exactly.
02:38You're actually in charge.
02:40I'm really trying to help.
02:41Sorry.
02:41I got your coffee.
02:42Sorry.
02:42Stop.
02:43Jesus.
02:44Yeah, we were trying to finish.
02:46We were racing the light just like in the actual episode.
02:48We were not finishing because something kept going wrong with the camera while coffee was
02:52spilling on set every take.
02:53It was as comedic as anything we filmed.
02:57It wasn't funny to the camera operator.
02:59It wasn't funny to the deep.
03:01I kept getting in his face at the very end of a complicated shot over and over and it
03:04was like take 23 and it was so dark out that at some point Catherine was the only one
03:09who was willing to be honest and just go, Seth, is that you?
03:12Yeah.
03:12It was like, it was exactly like the show.
03:18We refused to admit it and got too dark.
