00:00We, the members of Parliament of Malaysia, with a full humanitarian responsibility and solidarity with the people of Palestine,
00:10hereby declare the following positions.
00:14We strongly condemn and denounce the crime of genocide and brutal killing of 239 journalists and media practitioners in Gaza
00:25by the Zionist Israeli regime.
00:30The systematic targeting of journalists is a deliberate attempt to silence the truth from reaching the international community
00:38and constitutes a blatant violation of international humanitarian law.
00:45We express our full support for the initiative of the 1000 Flotilla Break the Siege and Numut the Santara,
00:54a humanitarian solidarity movement spearheaded by Malaysia,
01:00with together regional and international network to end the cruel blockade imposed by Israel on Gaza.
01:10Members of Parliament of Malaysia further express full commitment to assist the Flotilla,
01:17the Flotilla Missions in achieving its goal of breaking the blockade and ensuring that agent humanitarian aid
01:27can reach to the people of Gaza without obstructions.
01:32We also pledge to extend all possible diplomatic and legal efforts to defend the safety of the Flotilla participants
01:41should Israel resort to agresions against the missions.
01:49Malaysia will support necessary international legal and diplomatic action to hold the Israeli regime accountable.
01:57We therefore call upon, first, the entire members of Parliament of Malaysia
02:05to stand united in solidarity regardless of party lines in defending the right of Palestinian people.
02:16Second, the government of Malaysia to take stronger measures at the international stage,
02:22including pressing for decisive action against Israel at the International Criminal Court, ICC.
02:32Lastly, the people of Malaysia to join the Pehimpunan Bersamamu Gaza
02:39and 1000 Flotilla Nusantara Break the Siege on 24th August 2025,
02:44this coming Sunday at Datara Merdeka, Kuala Lumpur from 7pm onward.
02:52The voice of the Parliament of Malaysia is the voice of humanity.
02:58We stand firm with Palestine.
03:01The 1000 Flotilla and Nusantara, we call it the Sumut Nusantara.
03:07Sumut means resilience.
03:09We are going to depart 31st of August from Spain and from Tunisia on the 4th of September.
03:2044 countries have already confirmed.
03:24We have returned to at least 140 countries, 40 governments around the world
03:30and some big figures.
03:33We have returned to Pope Leo, I've returned to Dalai Lama,
03:41I've returned to the pastor of Moscow,
03:45I've returned to Antonio Guterres,
03:50I've returned to the secretary of OIC,
03:52I've returned to 140 presidents and prime ministers.
03:55We want this mission,
03:57the non-violence civilian mission
04:01to be recognised by the governments of the world
04:04and also to make sure that we are protected.
04:08Now we're going to face a very high-risk mission.
04:12The probability of being attacked is there
04:14and we want the governments to see
04:16that unless and until we act to intervene into Gaza,
04:21Gaza will be annihilated.
04:23We proudly stand with the parliamentarians in Malaysia.
04:29No doubt that the prime minister,
04:32the cabinet and all the members of parliament
04:35and also the government, the state governments in Malaysia
04:37are all with Palestine.
04:40The only thing that we want
04:41is that there is no more rhetorics,
04:44no more words,
04:45enough of this condemnation of words.
04:48We want action
04:48And therefore,
04:50this 1,000 flotilla
04:51and the Sumud Nusantara
04:53will be
04:54an historical,
04:57unprecedented effort
04:58to break the siege
05:00and to make things happen in Gaza.
