Sydney salon targeted twice in break-in attempt

At around 12.20 on July 2nd, and again at 3am on July 5th, police were called to a shop on Burwood Road following reports that a group of males was attempting to break in. Video voice-over powered using ACM-approved AI.

00:05Sydney in July 2025. At around 12.20 on July 2nd and again at 3am on July 5th,

00:12police were called to a shop on Burwood Road following reports that a group of males was

00:17attempting to break in. On the earlier date, police found an accelerant had been poured

00:22through the premises but no damage was reported. On the second attempt, the men were armed with an

00:28axe and were interrupted while attempting to gain access to the premises. Police charged one man in

00:35relation to the first incident but are seeking information on a whereabouts of the other

00:39participants seen in the CCTV footage from both dates.
