00:30Welcome to the 14th Gabala International Music Festival.

00:35More than 500 artists from 13 countries have gathered here in the picturesque Azerbaijani city

00:42to share melodies, stories and high notes across six days of concerts.

00:49The mountains of Gabala, I should confess, inspire to be great, open-hearted,

00:58because here there is a wonderful atmosphere. People are so warm.

01:02And we, Georgians, Felicity City Hall, big men, we are always happy to come here

01:07and to exchange, to give love and celebrate a wonderful music,

01:13which gives us inspiration that lifts us up.

01:17From morning rehearsals to late-night encores, music flows non-stop.

01:34As evening falls, the amphitheatre becomes an open-air opera house.

01:38In Viva Opera, arias unfold, sending music to mingle with the mountain breezes and picnickers alight.

01:47It's been a few years since the beginning of Azerbaijan.

01:54It's been a festival in Azerbaijan.

01:55We both have listened to the Azerbaijan artists and the foreign artists,

01:59and we have been blessed.

02:04Gabala's open-air venue becomes a living postcard where strings shimmer and voices soar.

02:10I feel very proud to be here in Gabala, because this is my country.

02:18This is a special place. I've been like in the beginning of this adventure, like 14 years ago.

02:26And I see in these years, I saw how developed this festival, how many people comes from the foreign countries,

02:35international artists, international artists, and this festival develops every year more and more.

02:42When the final note fades, echoes linger, and musicians and audience alike begin the countdown to next year's music festival.
