VP Sara can't be prevented from taking foreign trips—Palace

Malacañang said Vice President Sara Duterte cannot be prevented from going abroad as long as she was cleared to travel.  Palace Press Officer and Communications Undersecretary Claire Castro said this when asked if all of Duterte's trips were approved by the Office of the President as the Vice President has outnumbered the President's foreign trips this year. 00:03Well, Vice President Sara Duterte recently made a short trip to Paris, France after her visit to Kuwait.

00:10And based on our monitoring, she outnumbered the number of foreign trips of the president,

00:1511 kay VP Sara and at least 5 kay Pangulong Marcos.

00:20So can Malacanang confirm if all of these trips, whether official or personal,

00:25were duly cleared and approved by the office of the president.

00:30And does the palace support calls from lawmakers to release all travel records ng mga public officials?

00:37Kasi hinaman po ni VP Sara yung mga mambabatas to release their travel records.

00:42Dapat po bang gawin na yun para mawala yung mga questions ng mga tao?

00:47Yung travel po ng Vice Presidente, natuloy din po yung sa Kuwait.

00:54Yan naman po ay may travel authority.

00:57So hindi naman po siya mapipigilang umalis sa mga araw na gusto niyang umalis.
