00:00You know, we've been monitoring Scope 1 and Scope 2 since 2019.
00:26Scope 1 covers petrol and fuel research. Scope 2 of course mainly about electricity.
00:34We've been doing quite well monitoring and reducing and improving Scope 1 and Scope 2.
00:42But it's very obvious to us Scope 3 is the one that matters because Scope 3 covers about 80 to 90% of our carbon footprint.
00:53And it involves the whole of our supply chain.
00:57So obviously to us that's really not just a priority but an objective that we must definitely on our journey towards sustainability.
01:08That we must tackle and bring our partners along together with us.
01:13Together with our supply chain EcoWorld must evolve the way we work, the way we do our business,
01:21the way we see how people use our products in the longer run towards a more sustainable future,
01:29towards a more caring about climate, caring about environment and caring about how to take care of the planet together.
01:38While of course we are still making our profits and our livelihood and also ensuring that we do not destroy the planet in the future.
01:49At EcoWorld, we must demonstrate our sincerity and our determination to bring the agenda forward.
01:57Just for your information, we have a digitalisation process in EcoWorld has been going on for many, many years.
02:04That is also one way to make us more sustainable, look after the environment.
02:10And also the way we do our work, our designs, how we do our projects, how we look at our earthworks and waterways, how we look after them.
02:23Those are very important steps that we must take to show to our supply chain that we are serious.
02:29And when we produce the buildings that a lot of our communities live in, work in,
02:36it must rear towards a longer sustainability goal, even for our communities.
02:41We needed a tool where we can put everybody together and the progress tool assesses them.
02:50It tells our partners where they actually stand in climate maturity.
02:57And the tool also can come beyond assessing, also give them ideas where there are gaps in their processes,
03:06how to improve, how to go forward and also monitor the action plans that they will take.
03:11So with the progress tool, this is well structured, we can monitor and see how they progress over a period of time.
03:21And then keep on discussing, to ask them to go forward, to put in new ideas, putting in resources together, time together.
03:30A lot of time is required.
03:32The goal is not just for us as one company, but it's for everybody as a whole.
03:48So partnerships are very important.
03:50And so when we partnered with UNGC and Alliance Bank, they provide a very valuable help and insights in terms of the whole process.
04:00Because what we did with them was, as you know, we conducted workshops with our supply chain partners
04:06to help educate them in terms of what sustainability is all about and simplify the whole topic.
04:14Because today in the market is very confusing and it seems very big.
04:18How we worked with the UNGC and Alliance Bank is, through this whole process, with their progress tool,
04:25we educated our supply chain partners on the value of sustainability.
04:32The one good thing about, the additional good thing of the progress tool is,
04:37it is structured in a very layman terms, whereby the partners, our partners are able to really understand
04:43what they need to do and relate it back to the ordinary day of work,
04:49so that they know how to effectively make the change towards climate maturity.
04:55And we are happy when we monitor this process that most of our supply chain partners
05:01actually jumped at least two levels in their climate maturity.
05:04For example, previously they were lagging, they managed to jump to advance.
05:08So this was very happy for us to see and gave us confidence in terms of how we structured our workshops.
05:16Because at the end of the day, the workshops that we do must be in as layman as possible,
05:23so that everybody collectively understands the main goal.
05:26And through this process, today we are embedding this same progress tool in our risk assessment of our partners,
05:32so that we can actually monitor them and ensure that all our supply chain partners hit a minimum level of intermediate,
05:39so that we know together as a company, as a partnership, we are all moving forward towards a sustainable future.
