00:00i don't want to make our next guest late for his own charity golf tournament but sean thornton
00:06decided to stick around with tukarask hi guys how are you how you doing been too long i know
00:12uh congrats on the cup thank you thank you it had nothing to do with it i sell sweets and signs
00:16yeah i mean i saw it you seemed to be taking pictures left and right with it i mean i acted
00:22like it had something to do with it i don't know if i did that um but wait big announcement from
00:27you no no big announcement just yeah yeah not yet that is insane that you just did that well he put
00:34it out on his social idea yeah uh i am moving on from the florida panthers for something new so
00:38i'm excited i'm excited something new something new only fans no that's a great idea isn't it
00:45isn't it a great idea you could do just feet stuff yeah i got nice feet yeah they're not skates in it
00:51every day yeah look pretty good tuka how you doing good buddy good um i think we have to congratulate
00:56you on the emmy for yes you do i keep hearing about this wow yeah the nested broadcast you razor
01:03and bergy and bergy yeah um the in-game kind of analysis you guys want an emmy yeah unobstructed
01:08views uh first year first emmy this is something i never thought i would hear in my ears that no
01:13tuka and bergy had an emmy together do you each get your own one yes okay i always wondered how that
01:19worked like if you have to split one you each get to take it home a night or if you each get your
01:23own we get our own okay i thought it was a joke when they texted me but it's not it's a real thing
01:27somebody's playing a prank i actually watched the show it's pretty cool it is good because i'm a fan
01:31of manning cast i just hate the way that eli and peyton are in two separate places but with you guys
01:37all being on the couch it's pretty cool and then to see all the different guys that you have on there
01:41talking about the stories so i actually watched the game that way that's yeah we talked about it it's
01:45it's so much easier to do it in person because you don't get the delays and it's not as awkward but
01:50we enjoyed it hopefully we go on season two and and get better but yeah you can invite me on this
01:54year now i don't work did we invite you last year but i worked for a competing franchise so it didn't
01:59really make sense yeah um we were talking about this earlier you guys both uh well sean you've had
02:06the opportunity to be in uh working in the nhl in another market what is it about boston and this
02:14event and and and charity in general that number one athletes almost as soon as they get here
02:21um embrace it and participate in it and the support that that comes for for events like this i think
02:28it's just the authenticity that people have in the community like especially athletes when you get
02:33here like it's i wouldn't say it's expected but you'd be the outlier if you weren't involved in
02:37the community right so uh as you're involved you get thrown into different situations and the jimmy
02:42fund uh dana farber definitely always front to the front of mind and once you go and experience it
02:49how can you not be you know able to contribute so it's they're remarkable they do amazing things
02:54in this telethon's you know it's nationally we've watched in florida it's great yeah yeah we we mentioned
02:59downstairs nesting but it's like when you come in you you basically don't have a choice but to do it
03:04you know your team has 20 plus guys and you get split up in groups of three or four and okay
03:09you're gonna go to hospital you're gonna go to fire station and somewhat whatnot like that and
03:14then you see it and you see what it gives for the kids and you love it and you just want to go go back
03:19as soon as soon as possible and i think it's for in my life in my career it was one of the highlights
03:24always get to see the smile on the kids's face and and how happy they were i think we're fortunate
03:29too that we both stayed here in the summer so we're around in the off season and really involved in the
03:32community and got to experience boston at its best yeah well and both of you guys were uh were really
03:38really active in the community and really did a lot so uh i want to make sure we thank you for
03:42thank you sean so active i thought he was from like charlestown and stuff i didn't realize he was from canada
03:47i'm just fooling him i literally just said now you mean just now i was like five minutes ago
03:53because i was like what is wrong with you i was talking to razor about you know where he grew up in
04:00uh canada and stuff like that and i was like sean where you from aren't you from around he was like
04:04no i'm from canada i was like canada i thought you were from here i'm from up north bilirica
04:10someplace like i'm like you sure you're not uh no it's incredible this and and the p like we have a
04:18whole we have 15 volunteers that are over there answering the phone which is more people than
04:23we're at the uh stanley cup uh parade and this is not true uh so it's really a half million people
04:31okay you did not have a half million people at that parade one we had here i'm well aware
04:35last year it rained yeah it did rain yes all right well it's great to see both of you guys
04:47thanks for everything thank you all right all right sean thornton and it is day number two
