00:00The Bruins are tied for first place in the Atlantic, which is not something I would dismiss in December.
00:07They are playing really well.
00:09I mean, did you guys see the first period last night?
00:11They were atrociously bad.
00:13It's like they forgot to start.
00:15They were awful.
00:16And then the second period, they came out and dominated.
00:19That's the thing.
00:21And Brickley and Beers said it on the radio.
00:23I was in the car.
00:24I heard him say this, and Brickley said it on TV.
00:26See, once this team finds their game, they're real tough to beat.
00:30They're real tough to play against.
00:32And I don't know what Marco Stern said to them between the first and second period, but it was night and day.
00:36First period, they were really bad, and they were only down 1-0.
00:39Swayman made a couple of big, big saves to keep them in it and keep it only 1-0.
00:44It should have been 2 or 3, but once they found whatever type of game they play, they were far better than this team.
00:52They're burying bad teams.
00:54And is there a better redemption story than Sweeney?
00:58If you look at Geeky's contract, if you look at the guys that he picked up, if you look at the hiring of Sturm.
01:06Just from the coaching aspect, because you go back and you think about the two coaches that were let go pretty quickly there between Cassidy and Montgomery,
01:15and you could argue whether it was the right thing to do with both of those guys.
01:20I don't know that any of us in here were on board with letting go of Montgomery, but the move to Sturm ended up so far looking like the right one.
