00:51Mr. Rajnath Singh and Kiran Rajnath Singh still working the phones to get consensus from the opposition?
00:59Or has that ship really sailed?
01:01Well, the work is still going on because the government is trying its best to reach out to all the opposition political parties.
01:08What we are told is that Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has spoken to various opposition leaders,
01:12including French Stalin and Malik Arjun Khadge, what we are told is that he is looking forward to speak to various other opposition political parties,
01:22requesting them to extend their support to C.P. Radhakrishnan.
01:25And that's what also we heard in today's NDA's parliamentary party meeting,
01:30when Piyam Marendra Modi spoke about in detail on the background, on the legacy of C.P. Radhakrishnan.
01:35And he also requested a few opposition political parties to support the candidature of C.P. Radhakrishnan.
01:42He belongs to a normal background.
01:49He is a shankarikar.
01:50He has been indulged in, he has been taking part in various social activities.
01:55Remember that the nomination process will take place tomorrow.
01:58So, before that, the government is trying its best to reach out to all opposition political parties to ensure C.P. Radhakrishnan has a wait when the elections take place.
02:08Today, the felicitation program of C.P. Radhakrishnan also took place,
02:12where P.M. Marendra Modi, along with other constituents of NDA, they all felicited C.P. Radhakrishnan.
02:18And while, during that program, we also heard P.M. talking about the legacy of C.P. Radhakrishnan.
02:24So, the government is trying its best to ensure that there is an inside victory of C.P. Radhakrishnan.
02:30On the other side, the opposition political parties are also to hold their meeting today at 12.30 p.m.
02:35where they are going to decide their future course of action, future strategy,
02:40as to how they will be looking into the entire elections.
02:43Tomorrow is the day when NDA's vice presidential candidate, C.P. Radhakrishnan, is going to file his nomination.
02:48Before that, we can expect opposition also to field the candidate.
02:53Opposition would be fielding the candidate as very.
02:55Now, I just want to ask you, Piyush, and explain this to us.
02:58How do the elections really work?
03:01What do the numbers look like at this point in time?
03:03Because, to me, it looks like the NDA is comfortable vis-a-vis the numbers.
03:07You know, explain to us the procedure for the elections.
03:10What is expected?
03:13Yes, NDA has got the numbers and it enjoys the majority in both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.
03:20And there is no doubt that C.P. Radhakrishnan will win and it will be a cakewalk for him.
03:25As far as the procedure is concerned, tomorrow the nomination will be filed by C.P. Radhakrishnan.
03:30And in that nomination, all NDA-ruled state chief ministers and deputy chief ministers,
03:35along with them, senior leaders of BJP and NDA, will be present.
03:39After the nomination process is filed, then the elections will take place on September 9.
03:45And in that election, all MPs of Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha, they will be casting their vote.
03:49And on the very same day, we can also expect results to be out.
03:56But what is more important here is that before the elections on September 9,
04:01there will be a training session also of all the parliamentarians,
04:04of all the parliamentarians from all the groups, from both the groups, from India Bloc and NDA Bloc,
04:12where the government will tell them the process, what all needs to be followed when the elections take place.
04:17So the training of parliamentarians will take place on 6th, 7th and 8th.
04:21And on 9th of September, the voting will take place.
04:24So that's what is the entire process, which is all to be followed.
04:28But it will become very interesting when India Bloc will also come up with its name,
04:33because then again we will see another sort of nomination being filed by the opposition candidate.
04:38And it's going to be India Bloc versus NDA, as far as the vice presidential polls are concerned.
04:44But there is no doubt that C.P. Razakistan enjoys majority and he will have a say when elections take place on September 9.
