The trial of celebrity crocodile wrangler Matt Wright has entered its third week. Mr Wright has pleaded not guilty to charges related to his alleged interference with an investigation into a 2022 helicopter accident which killed his close friend, Chris Wilson, and left a pilot confined to a wheelchair. A witness told the court Matt Wright sent someone to the hospital to collect pilot's mobile phone.

00:06She is the girlfriend of Sebastian Robinson, the pilot who survived the helicopter accident
00:12in 2022. Mr Robinson gave evidence over several days last week and told the court he has no
00:18memory of the accident and that his recollection of the days afterward Apache. Today, Ms Lee was
00:25asked questions about visiting her boyfriend in the ICU of Royal Brisbane Hospital. She told the
00:31court that after waking from a coma, Mr Robinson was heavily sedated, but that he was able to have
00:36a conversation. She told the court a contact of Mr Wright, a man named Tim Johnson, at one point
00:43visited the injured pilot and asked for his mobile phone and a book. She told the court she couldn't
00:49remember whether the book was Mr Robinson's pilot logbook, but said she refused Mr Johnson
00:54access to her boyfriend's mobile phone. The witness was also asked questions about a party
01:00she and Mr Robinson attended just two days before the crash. She told the court she got very drunk
01:06and does not recall seeing Mr Robinson consuming cocaine. The jury was sent home early today while
01:12lawyers engaged in legal argument. Witnesses are expected to continue giving evidence tomorrow.
