00:00Now let's turn to another terrible pitcher that will be Eric Fetty of the now Atlanta Braves.
00:06So I'm going to sell you on Eric Fetty for three-plus walks at plus 155.
00:12Going up against the Guardians, as I mentioned, the Guardians are not hitting as of late.
00:16So part of me wants to say, like, okay, we're not hitting at the plate.
00:20We've got to be a little bit more patient.
00:21If we can just get on base, we've got to start scratching across runs.
00:24And that should be happening against Eric Fetty, who comes in on the season with a 10.8% walk rate overall.
00:29When we look at his recent few starts, 4-2-2 walks that he has over his last three.
00:35He's not a good pitcher when it's all said and done.
00:37The Guardians also do not strike out.
00:39So they are disciplined at the plate combined with the recent offensive struggles.
00:43They've got to be extra cautious, not swinging, take that extra pitch.
00:47Fetty's terrible.
00:48We get some runners on for free with some walks.
00:51Yeah, that's what you want too, right?
00:52Because he's probably going to get chased early in that game,
00:54which means he probably gives up hits and walks at the same time.
00:57He's like, oh, you get a chance to get his seventh strikeout because everybody was putting the ball in play.
01:02Fetty's a great player to fade here.
01:03Would you like to see that, Tom, hit by the second inning?
01:05Like, guy got knocked out an inning and a third.
01:07Gave up four walks, four hits, and away you go in that baseball game.
01:11I'm going to take a look at a couple of batters that maybe some people aren't paying attention to, Tom.
01:14The Minnesota Twins, not a great baseball team, but they do have a decent lineup on a day-to-day basis.
01:19It's really kind of interesting.
01:20I'm taking a look at Matt Wallner and also Luke Kishaw today.
01:23The reason being is Larnock's last 54 at-bats, Tom, against right-handed pitching, which Chris Paddock is today,
01:28he says a 200 ISO power number and a 318 weighted on-base percentage.
01:31In anticipation, he's probably going to get five at-bats today.
01:34Then Luke Kishaw there in the three-hole, 31 at-bats against right-handed pitching over the past month.
01:38How about a 310 ISO and a 504 weighted on-base percentage?
01:41I'm looking at them each, Tom, just to get a base hit, and that's a plus 120 price.
01:46Put that bay boy in a parlay, and away you go.
01:48Gotta love it.
01:51I also have a hitter in that game, which we'll get to in the home run segment.
01:55We're not going to do that right now, but that's the first.
01:58We will be looking there at the next segment.
02:01Ah, I'd like to see it there at this point right now, but I do.
02:03Look, bad baseball teams can still put together some pretty good streaks here,
02:07particularly at the plate, because you're always trying to hit at this point.
02:10So, pitching props today, Tom.
02:13We did pretty well with them last week.
02:14Where are we going today on some pitching props?
02:16Yeah, let's turn to Nathan Eovaldi for the Texas Rangers.
02:20I think he's a really good pitcher.
02:21He really is when it's all said and done, but I got to be going to under four and a half
02:25strikeouts for him.
02:27I know he got blown up in his last start versus the Dimebacks.
02:29This really has nothing to do with that, but Eovaldi's strikeout rate is good.
02:33It has dipped a little bit.
02:34This really has mostly to do with the Blue Jays, who come in this season with a 17.1% strikeout rate
02:41versus right-handed pitching, which is the lowest in the majors.
02:45They are beyond discipline at the plate, not to mention the fact that even if Eovaldi,
02:51you know, this was a turning point for him where he got blown up last game by the Dimebacks,
02:54he does give up another three earned runs.
02:56He can give up three earned runs and get pushed out of the game early because the Blue Jays
02:59are on fire right now.
03:01They're scoring runs left, right, and center.
03:02So, Eovaldi's good, but this is a really tough matchup for him to go over four and a half strikeouts.
03:08So, Eovaldi's good, but this is a really tough matchup for him to go over four and a half strikeouts.
