Notre-Dame welcomes faithful for Assumption, first since restoration

'This is our mother church, and we truly rejoice in coming back to it, all together,' says Bishop Emmanuel Tois, auxiliary bishop of Paris, on the occasion of the first ceremony of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary since the restoration of Notre-Dame Cathedral. For its faithful, taking part in this procession represents a 'privilege' and 'an immense joy.'
