A crowd at the Minor Basilica and Parish of San Sebastian in Manila gather for the arrival of the Andas or carriage carrying the image of the Black Nazarene, which is expected to make a brief stop as part of a tradition known as 'Dungaw.' According to the Catholic Church, 'Dungaw' involves the meeting between the Nazarene and the patron of San Sebastian Parish, the Our Lady of Mount Carmel, as a sign of 'religious courtesy' before the Nazarene heads to its home in Quiapo Church to cap the celebration of its feast day on Jan. 9, 2026.
