Frustrated by legislation, farmers and shooters gather in Perth to protest

Hundreds gathered on the steps of State Parliament to voice their anger and disappointment at the government’s actions.

00:00It affects the whole of community and in so many ways.

00:04It goes from conservation and the vast number of increase in the feral animals, the foxes, the feral cats, the feral dogs

00:13and the huge impact that's having not only on our native wildlife, our flora and fauna,

00:17but also on our farming community where their lambs, their calves, their animals are being really impacted.

00:24It goes into the other side of the safe management of livestock,

00:28being able to euthanise an animal.

00:30The limit to five firearms, when you become dedicated to specific roles with your firearms,

00:35it becomes difficult to do that.

00:38I've got a couple of antique firearms, which one's specifically of sentimental value.

00:45I don't want to lose that at all.

00:47Yeah, it's being told when I can go out, how I can go out, et cetera, et cetera.
