00:43Now today's message is titled, Be Ye Followers of Me.
00:49We all need someone to follow, basically, perhaps, to succeed.
00:55Or we all need someone to guide us along the way and show us the way on how to do this,
01:04show us the way on how to do that.
01:06Even prosperity.
01:07We need to be guided along the way.
01:12Let me read the scripture that I have for you.
01:16Coming from the book of Corinthians, chapter 11, verse 1.
01:20And this is Paul speaking, an apostle of God.
01:24He said, Be ye followers of me, even also as I am of Christ.
01:32Now, what he is saying is, follow my steps.
01:40Follow me.
01:41I want to teach you something.
01:43I want to show you something that's necessary to live in this life.
01:49I want to show you something that's necessary for you to have prosperity and peace.
01:56Be ye followers of me.
01:57In other words, come on.
01:59Follow me.
02:00Let me show you some goodness.
02:02If we want our world to be in a better condition, we need to follow someone.
02:17We need someone to show us the way on how to make our land, our communities, our zip codes,
02:26how to make these areas a better way.
02:29As a matter of fact, how to make these areas be more peaceful.
02:35Show us the way.
02:39God sent from heaven a plan.
02:45He sent from heaven a design.
02:49He sent from heaven a work.
02:52He sent a way so that we can make everything beautiful.
02:58Everything prospers.
03:01You know, not just the land, not just the peace, not just on the crime, but even your life.
03:10See, these people are going to show us the way on how to live better lives,
03:14how to please God,
03:17how to be blessed and get up out of the curse.
03:20They're going to show us how to just
03:22please God, be ye followers of me.
03:31And this person who said that, which is Paul, right?
03:33When he said, be ye followers of me.
03:37Now, he's not saying follow him.
03:41You know, he's not saying follow him because he's just flesh and blood.
03:47He's a man.
03:47It's the Holy Ghost that's in him.
03:51That's unctioning him to say, be ye followers of me.
03:56So what's inside of Paul is speaking those words, not Paul.
04:02Because Paul is a man.
04:03You don't want to follow Paul because Paul will lead you to the pit.
04:07Paul will lead you to something that's not right.
04:13I'm talking about the man Paul because this guy Paul saw he used to persecute the church.
04:18You don't want to follow him.
04:19You want to follow what's inside of him.
04:22You want to follow what gave him a conversion.
04:24The Holy Ghost, be ye followers of the Holy Ghost.
04:28Be ye followers of me.
04:31If you want to heal our land, you got to follow someone.
04:36To heal our land, you got to follow someone to show us how to fight to take back God's world.
04:43Someone needs to show us how to bring about peace in our communities.
04:48It can be done, ladies and gentlemen.
04:50It can be done, but we need to follow someone.
04:54My God, my God, it's going to take soldiers to heal our land.
05:04It's going to take footmen.
05:06It's going to take battle men.
05:07It's going to take warriors.
05:09It's going to take a people who are giving the instructions on how to do the works for healing our communities.
05:16God's people are in charge of this work.
05:23The land healing project has been given and passed on to his people.
05:30The land healing project has been revealed.
05:34Have anybody read it?
05:36Do anybody understand that book, that Bible?
05:39It's been revealed on how to heal the land.
05:41It's been revealed.
05:42So, what are we waiting on?
05:44We are too busy buying tires.
05:47We are too busy buying radio systems.
05:49We are too busy trying to look pretty.
05:50Too busy trying to look good.
05:52Too busy trying to get the things in this world.
05:55And our world is dying right before our very own eyes.
05:59Each and every last one of us got the tool, the message is in us right now.
06:04And we won't go out there and be followers of these people.
06:07So, let me go ahead and pull out one of the guys that we need to follow who goes by the name of Noah.
06:17Yes, yes, yes.
06:19Noah was a man who was sent out to deliver a message to the people.
06:25He was sent out to deliver a message to the people who were lost, who were sick in their minds, who were filled with pride, who were filled with wickedness.
06:35He was sent to go out there and preach and give those people a message because it takes a message to heal our land.
06:44And Noah went out there and did a work.
06:49The world was in wickedness.
06:52So, God used Noah to give the people a message to turn God from his anger.
07:00Noah was a vessel used by the Spirit of God.
07:06Noah can also say, be ye followers of me.
07:10We need to go out there and do what Noah did.
07:14Noah was our example.
07:15The whole entire Bible is an example.
07:18The things that the prophets did, those are examples that we're supposed to do today.
07:24It's like a movie.
07:25It's like a book.
07:26It's like a script.
07:27We're supposed to copy what they did and do the exact same thing they did.
07:30Because when we go out there and witness, we are doing, when we go out there in the world to witness, we are doing exactly what Noah did.
07:39Be ye followers of me.
07:41In order to get our world in a better condition, we must do what Noah did.
07:50We must go face the works of darkness.
07:53We must go face the people and witness to them right before their very own eyes.
07:59So, Noah can also say, be ye followers of me.
08:03See, do what I did.
08:08Use your testimony to heal the land.
08:13See, when you're out there on the streets, you ain't got time to pull up a chair or go get a microphone and pull up a sermon.
08:21It's immediately, you got to use your testimony.
08:24The testimony that God gave you.
08:26God saved you from something and that's your testimony to heal the land.
08:30Go do what Noah did.
08:32Your testimony is your Noah message because you are going to speak to a bunch of people that Noah spoke to.
08:43Let's talk about another story.
08:46Let's talk about a guy by the name of David.
08:50There was a guy by the name of Goliath who was a giant.
08:55He was someone who challenged God's people to a fight.
08:59Challenged God's people to a fight?
09:02Really?
09:03So, when this challenge went about, this is what Goliath the giant said.
09:09He said, send me a man that we may fight.
09:14And he also said that if you kill me, then his people will serve you.
09:20The Philistines will serve the children of Israel.
09:22But if he killed one of God's people, they got to serve the Philistines.
09:27That was the challenge.
09:28That was the challenge.
09:30And guess what?
09:32The people of God were afraid to go and challenge this guy because why?
09:37He was big.
09:38Just like that board.
09:40He was huge.
09:42Just like that board.
09:44He was tall.
09:45Just like that board right there.
09:48That board represents Goliath.
09:50And we are supposed to go and challenge those works.
09:53You think we're supposed to sit back and watch?
09:56And let the news tell us every single day what happened and just keep on listening?
10:00And don't go out there and do a Noah work and watch?
10:03That's Goliath out there.
10:05But a boy, a young lad, by the name of David, he went out there and challenged Goliath to a fight.
10:24He heard what the giant was saying and he stepped up and went out there.
10:31And see, all it takes is a group of people or a person to step up and go out there and challenge that board.
10:40We got a lot of work to do.
10:43But don't nobody see the understanding or the revelation that we're supposed to be out there fighting against that war.
10:50We're supposed to be soldiers, right?
10:52It's a war.
10:53We're supposed to be warriors, right?
10:55It's a war.
10:57We're supposed to be in the military, right?
10:59It's a war.
11:01It's our war.
11:03We got the word.
11:03We got the missiles.
11:05We got the sword.
11:06We got the tools.
11:09But nobody getting the understanding from that.
11:13We think we're supposed to sit back and wait on God.
11:17No.
11:18God gave us some instructions.
11:20And anytime you have instructions, that means do what I gave you to do.
11:25We got instructions.
11:27So what are we waiting on?
11:27We have instructions.
11:28If you want to bake a cake, you go buy a box with the instructions.
11:32Bake the cake.
11:33You got instructions.
11:34Do it.
11:40There comes a time when us, the people of God, must go and challenge the enemy.
11:48We got to go out there and fight.
11:54This is what I call myself fighting.
11:57I wrote a book about what happened to me.
11:59I was getting high on drugs.
12:01And my heart stopped beating for 11 minutes.
12:04And I went to a coma for 10 days.
12:07So I realized that that board right there, that Goliath right there, those people are on drugs.
12:15And I have a testament about drugs.
12:17So that's why I went out there and faced them.
12:20I'm out there doing a work what Noah did.
12:23Go face those people.
12:25I'm out there doing a work what David did.
12:27Go out there and challenge the enemy.
12:30Be ye followers of Noah.
12:32Be ye followers of David.
12:33Let's go out there and fight today.
12:40We can't be talking about, oh, we're going to go out there next week, next Saturday.
12:45No.
12:45Today.
12:52So I went out there and used my testimony.
12:57I passed out from my hand more than 20,000 flyers and business cards.
13:07I sold from my hand more than 1,500 copies of the book.
13:13I went and posted up with my signs in more than or just about 100 intersections.
13:23Years.
13:24Just imagine all the people who saw me.
13:28Just imagine all the soldiers, all the people of God, all other military.
13:34Just imagine they saw me and wouldn't even help.
13:38Because you all think we're supposed to be sitting back.
13:40See, you got to wait on God.
13:42Let God do it.
13:43No, you do it.
13:46All you got to do is go to work.
13:47You do it.
13:51He gave us the instructions.
13:53We have the tool.
13:54The tool is in us.
13:55The word of God.
13:56You do it.
13:58Noah was sent after he went to do it.
14:01David was sent after he went to do it.
14:03You do it.
14:04God, my God, my God, be ye followers of me, be ye followers of Noah, be ye followers of
14:14King David.
14:15Because a message need to go forth, a challenge need to go forth every single day.
14:21Y'all went out there and challenged the enemy of God.
14:27You know, it's just as simple as that to just go out there and witness.
14:32How are we going to get our land together?
14:33By using the word of God.
14:35How are we going to use the word of God?
14:36By speaking to the people.
14:38It's just that easy.
14:39But you all are too tired.
14:41You know why?
14:41Because y'all work too much.
14:44Y'all going out too much.
14:47We partying.
14:48We celebrating too much.
14:49We doing us entirely too much.
14:53We can sit back and watch TV for a whole five hours.
14:57And guess what?
14:58That time could be spent on the land doing God's work.
15:03But yet we claim that we don't have time or we're busy.
15:07Look at all the TV we're watching.
15:09Turn that TV off and do the works of God.
15:16John the Baptist.
15:19Also a guy who went out there and challenged the people with a message of God.
15:24He was telling everybody to repent.
15:26To be baptized.
15:28That's a message.
15:29See, all these prophets, all these people, they going out there to face.
15:33Face the people who need a conversion.
15:39Y'all don't see that?
15:40We're supposed to be out there fighting?
15:43Well, you know, it's not like a physical war.
15:46But going out there to try to get some people converted, that's the wrestling match.
15:51That's the fight.
15:53That's the match.
15:54That's what we're up against.
15:56That's why it's called a fight.
15:58Because we're trying to get some people to turn from their wicked ways.
16:02To get some people to understand that God is calling them in.
16:07But it's something inside of them that don't want to let them go.
16:11That's why it's a fight.
16:13We've got to somehow persuade them to turn and come to God.
16:19That is supposed to be our job.
16:23We are commanded to do that.
16:25This is not some, I'm going to do it when I feel like it or when I get time.
16:31No.
16:31It's supposed to be in you and on you every single day.
16:35The war, the tool for the war is on you every single day.
16:40It's a spiritual battle.
16:45It's a spiritual warfare.
16:47And the spiritual thing is, that's the word of God.
16:52We've got to speak it, not just into the atmosphere, but speak it into the ears.
16:56We've got to find a way to get people to gather up and listen to us.
17:03We're supposed to like persuade, you know, just like when you persuade that man to give
17:07you all that money before, you persuade that girl to fornicate with you.
17:13You persuaded people to do what you wanted, to get what you wanted.
17:17We've got to go out there and persuade.
17:18It's a war out there right now, today, but we have become so uppity, we fail to realize
17:35that we're supposed to do a work by healing our own land.
17:40That's why Jesus called his disciples, you.
17:43He said, blessed are the peacemakers.
17:46We're supposed to be out there making peace.
17:49He gave us that title.
17:51You guys are peacemakers.
17:54We're supposed to be out there fighting against, see that boy right there?
17:57That's not peace.
17:58We're supposed to go out there where they are at and make peace in the midst of all of
18:03that stuff.
18:06Blessed are the peacemakers.
18:08Be ye followers of me.
18:10We've got to follow John the Baptist.
18:12We've got to follow Noah.
18:13We've got to follow Paul.
18:14We've got to follow David.
18:15We've got to follow the examples.
18:16We've got to follow these people and fight.
18:21My testimony is a good testimony for the war.
18:25It's about drugs.
18:27You all should have been coming to me with your 14-year-old son saying, speak to my son.
18:33I was an MVP quarterback twice.
18:35MVP baseball pitcher.
18:36Best basketball player in the city.
18:38There should have been a whole lot of people coming to me like coaches.
18:41They should have been saying, come talk to my team, man.
18:43Come talk to my team.
18:45Come talk to my football team.
18:47Come talk to my baseball team.
18:49Come talk to my basketball team.
18:51Come talk to my soccer team.
18:52I should be so busy.
18:54But you all don't see the fact that we're supposed to be doing a work.
18:58Help us one to another.
19:00Y'all should be trying to help me get the message to these young black men.
19:03I know you have a story.
19:06You have a testimony.
19:07But you ain't out there working.
19:09You don't think you're supposed to be out here.
19:13That Bible, all that Bible did was gave one command.
19:16And that command is forever.
19:19When he said, go get into all the world and preach the gospel.
19:22He was saying, go get into all the world and make something happen.
19:25If he's saying, take his word out there, which is the gospel, what is he saying?
19:31He's saying, go out there and heal the world because the gospel is for healing.
19:36It's the word of God.
19:38The word of God can heal.
19:40We don't see it like that.
19:43Your testimony is for the healing of the land.
19:48Your testimony is a message from God.
19:54But something has caused us, right, to make it seem like it is so hard when all we got to do is help one another or somebody.
20:07Everyone is focused on things before honoring the command to do a work in all of the land.
20:22My God, my God.
